Got the new Barrel Blade from Autofiber. This is my first use with it and I’m bringing you in. Check out the video for more info. www.autofiber.com/products/ba...
I just got mine on Saturday evening, after I had already washed and detailed my car. Looking forward to using it next weekend when I do it all over again, lol! What I'm excited about with this brush, the most, is that it should be able to get behind my big Brembo brake calipers to clean the dirt. Of all the brushes I have, the only one, so far, that can get behind there is the bristle brush. Not too fond of using that because it makes a mess when pulling it out of the wheel. Thanks for the video! I'm feeling better about this purchase I made.
Looks like it will work well with my big brakes on the mustang up front. They are a pain to get behind the caliper, have to move the car to get all the barrels fully cleaned. Thanks for the video!
I just ordered one from detailed image. The real test is gonna be if it can fit between my 19 inch wheel's barrell and front brake calipers. There's not much room lol
Looks like a really nice improvement to an existing design from other manufacturers. The handle being the star of the show here being nice and flat and appears to be really robustly built. I always have a problem getting behind the spokes and in between my calipers on my Nissan 370Z. Very tight spacing so this brush would definitely help if it would fit through that space. I've got a really narrow brush (off label brush from something else) that works but this type brush might be a better option. Once the brush I have fizzles out i'll have to try out one of these or pick up one on an Autofiber sale weekend or something.
I used my buddies 1 it was awesome. Just kinda sucks their asking 45 bucks 4 that.obviiously this is my opinion. Their products are all fantastic .their towels are so well made with top notch materials
The EZ Detail brush is much easier to clean and maneuver with and to compress into tight spaces, but this brush would be less prone to scratching gloss black wheels. Thanks for the review.
I always use the EZ detail brush first to get most the dirt. I found if you dont follow up with a wheel wooly or brush like in this vid its not 100% clean.
Looks like an interesting tool indeed! Do you think those black seems where the buttons are have any potential to scratch sensitive black wheels? That - and the button issue you mentioned - would be my only concerns. Otherwise, looks pretty cool.
No, I think they are built well. This microfiber won’t scratch and the seams are fine. They make a nylon cover as well that may scratch so I would use the microfiber one. The buttons are ok, I could just be a little rough at times. 😂
I like it, but is missing something. It needs a rubber stopper so I don’t bust my knuckles on big rims.. if they want to do that, I can sell my Patton to them
Where to begin?... its not a wheel cleaner, it's a wheel brush. Those aren't buttons, their snaps, they don't button, they snap. You've never cleaned your wheel barrels?
