So Trent Barret thinks the Sin Bin was unfair ? Really??? What else should happen when not one, but TWO players are making professional fouls? I think BOTH Eels should have done the time, they were both guilty. Totally stupid complaint from the Eels Coach! Pappy gets clobbered on the head and not even a penalty and Leiro barely touches an Eels player and it’s a penalty to Parra. Pappy is getting monstered in the play the ball and it’s a handover for not playing the ball properly, but the same exact thing happens down the other end and Parra gets to replay the ball. The amount of six agains awarded to Parra, as well as penalties, that were so much BS I can shovel it on my gardens! And Barret wants us to believe that they were hard done by? Forward passes that were let go, players just losing the ball and being called a Melbourne knock-on, then the tears about how Parramatta are missing their best players. What a pathetic list of excuses. Storm have played for a long time without their stars and they still won! I thought the Refereeing tonight was disgraceful! Putting Hughes on report for head contact when Parramatta were doing the same thing all game with nary a whistle. Storm need a kick in the rear, but they managed a win in spite of the Referee. I have Refereed games when I was younger, so I’m not happy bagging one, but tonight’s effort was simply disgusting.

Really poor effort by the Eels again. Complete lack of composure throughout the game. Forced passes, sin bin on half time, Penisini failed to pick up the loose ball/missed tackles/complete pass to teammates in the open. Gutho is not helping the young teammates with excessive chats n blames. Another week, another couple forces pass that were dropped n led to direct tries, unbelievable. TB has also lost the plot now n should be removed. Please just bring in JR to allow him more time to work with the team.

Parra will never win a premiership in this century.

Gutho saves more tries than any other fullbacks in the game in recent years.

Parramatta are a by product of the nrl flawed comp if you call it that a semi professional league I just hope when parra have there grease and oil change the nrl will become semi professional to professional

I actually think they were pretty dam good, despite 10 players out. Moses long kicks would’ve been great and more accuracy on 5th tackle they could’ve created some scoreboard pressure and put some heat on

I don't think Gutho has the speed for the fullback position anymore, at least for a few years already. He looks $1M against bad teams n looks $1 against top teams. This is the problem with a number of the players in the current Eels team. These players performances against the top teams are usually poor n far too inconsistent. Who could forget Waqa Blake's abysmal GF performance? The Eel's spine should be responsible for the creativity/ball-playing, the rest of the Eel team's job is the run straight into gaps. You definitely don't need Paulo/Cartright/Matterson/Lane/Hopgood to be going the creativity work n loose forward intensity, especially when the team is not going well. So poorly coached.
