Hey folks! This video is all about making some nice BARRICADES! Simple yet effective wargaming terrain for games such as Warhammer, Mordheim or Dungeons & Dragons! I really liked the way these came out in the end and they complement my Mordheim board well! What did you think? Please feel free to comment your thoughts below! Stay safe and lots of love to you all! 👍💙💛💙
This is something I'll need to do soon. I've recently built modular stone building ruins, modular stone walls, modular hills, and some rubble piles. And I started building some foamcore Morheim style buildings last night. So more scatter will be a good thing to have.
Nice work as always Leif. The pieces really look like they belong on your board. Thanks for inspiring me again, as soon the kids are asleep I am of to the basement to do some crafting myself. I have a wizards tower in need of some love! 😁👍🏻
Love this project so much. Even if it's mostly "done" I'm always happy to see you come back to it for little non essential things Maybe warpstone deposits, faction specific debris, specific landmarks and the like
Drew you beautiful person you! You read my mind! I do have some additional larger builds left for the board for sure and I will mix them into the backlog as I get time to do some hobbying! 👍😊
this channel has come a long way. Years ago I gave some CC about you saying "sort of" too much. You have corrected that and dont say it as much. Nice work on the scripting and the terrain. Im hoping to get some Mordheim content up on my channel too. Keep up the great work!
Thanks YourDungeonMaster! I always try to improve in every way but that being said, I have not changed the way I do videos or VO. Rarely do I use scripting actually! 👍😂
I've got a pack of em4 miniatures plastic shields coming in the mail soon. I wasn't sure what I was going to use them for, but I'm definitely going to make some barricades now.
Love that you say "...the good folks over at Ziterdes sent me a whole bunch of bits and pieces..." and then the labels of the packages are "bits and pieces". Love that! :)
Barricades!? Barricades!? We dont need no barricades. We got Berserkers!. Ok they look awsome. Olaf and Jörgen did a good job throwing that together. As allway good job see ya next time brother
Yo these barricades are sick! And so is ziterdes. I had nv heard of them before. Their world building terrain is so sick. I like playing Five leagues from the Borderlands and building different "maps" or boards depending on the scenario. Their stuff looks perfect for that. Thx Leif!
@@DevsDice Grimdark Les Mis... hmmm. You could be on to something there, my dude. Maybe a scenario set in the Altdorf Window Tax Riots from Felix and Gotrek...
FYI... as far as the "fletching" on the arrows, and using tape to make it. You can still use it, but do a "tri-fold" instead of the two sided one, but either way, those arrows looked awesome.!.!.!.!
Ahh nice! Yeap I know them folks and most likely some more to be honest! Been doing video games for 20+ years and the industry is kind of smallish still in Sthlm! 👍😊
@@DevsDice Coming from the TV industry to the gaming industry sure was a nice change of pace with lots of friendly and equally nerdy colleagues! Also super cool seeing my main inspirations into mini painting and terrain building are basically within my everyday hahaha!
This came out really cool! I love how every piece tells some kind of story. Thinking back to your old crystal scatter terrain video, have you considered doing that on a smaller scale to make wyrdstone objective counters for your Mordheim setup?
Yes! Of course they do! 👍😂 That was what I meant all along! 🤣 Thanks M41282! Of course they do, my brain tells me once I think about the construction of the crossbow! Happy accident! 👍💙💛💙
Really love your mordeheim terrain, it makes me wanna try the game!!! But I miss a bit your miniatures painting tutorials, they were so good!!! Anyway keep at it, you're amazing at everything you takle :)
hi Leif 😉 the Barricades looking sooo good 👍👍👍 that was a very cool Tutorial. the stuff from Ziterdes is awesome. i think i have to check it out 😂 Thanks man 😉👍 best wishes
Those look really good, definately a video for inspiration when I do more terrain modelling once I get more materials. I used up nearly all my strips of wood vaneers on differant sized crates and boxes, planking the square and rectangle card board cores I made from cut up cat food boxes. More scatter terrain is definately needed.
