To the kids saying we didnt have cellphones in the 80's, we did. They were big and cumbersome and not everyone had one, but they existed. Aww genz you are adorable. We gave you everything and yet you believe it all happened in your lifetimes. Pay respect to the OGs kids, you are not even on our level. All you know is push buttons in Elden Ring and talk crap online, all life skills I'm sure.
@@SilliusSybin first off, LOVe your name 🔥 secondly, tysm for letting these kids know! 🙌Been waiting for someone to set the record straight. Some hero’s don’t wear capes 🫡💛😎
This brings me back to my “happy childhood” when my mom asked me to pick up cigarettes for her, and I said “What if I say No”… My mother sang this song…and I picked up the cigarettes for her.
I knew this was going to be a good song. Must have missed it cause I was just a kid in the 80's. Thanks for bringing back the oldies but goodies. I feel complete now.
The Motorola DynaTAC 8000X, the first handheld cell phone, went on sale in March 1984 for USD $3,995. So maybe they ran into some rich asshole with one of those 😆
News flash, we had cellphones back then. You must be new here. Welcome to Earth young bloods. Maybe pick up a book 📚 People born after 2000 have a broken widget in their heads. 😂😂😂
The line about walking around with a phone to his ear made me suspicious of this being released in 1984, but then I saw cell phones were commercially released in 1983 so I have zero doubts about its authenticity now.
It's so cool this come out a year before i was born and I've never heard it before! RU-vid is great for learning new songs. Love this one. Wth was dude walking around with a ☎️ though? Is that where Andre3000 got it from?
@@knownbackhome619 Fa sho yo. You ain’t wrong about that. That Motorola brick phone was first introduced in 73’ tho. It was trash but technically a cell phone 🤣
How was the guy walking down the street on his phone in 1984????? Regular cell phone service wasn’t available publicly until 1992 when the Nokia phones came out. If he was on his cell phone walking down the street in 1984 he had to be carrying a box the size of a suitcase, and the phone had to cost 5-10k USD. First cell phones in the US for publis use, we’re sold in 1983
@@RetroRaunchRadio Oh yeahhh baby... It's great for a great time... that is 'till the mornin (hangover hell - that's why they called it "liquid crack")! But I'm on my way! I got the Alize' too, my man!
Hey bro! Would you mind if I use this song in my video? I don't mind copyright mark in my vid because my channel is purely non-profitable, without any ads. I would love to use this funny ass song, giving full credits to you in form of links in desc and "now playing" featuring edit so ppl can see the name of the song and the artist in real-time when watching the video! Thank you already for making this, much love! -WaterNinjaTurtle
@@waterninjaturtle420 🙏 tysm, so happy to hear you’re vibing with the track. You have my full consent to put the song on your video, boss. Appreciate you reaching out. Tysm for your support, and enjoying the fun time we’re trying to spread here. 👊💛🫡
On the topic of the "class". Got two stories from the times I went to school. Firstly there was one idiot who kept doing and talking shit around me, tryna make me trip while I was running through a corridor (successfully at one point). Then, when our last year at that school was almost over, he ran towards me once again and started his usual trash talk. I decided I'd had enough of his crap and punched him. My fist landed right under his jaw which caused him to bite his tongue. Then there was another fella at middle school, bragging about his "superiority" over me. He liked to mock me for playing Dead Space (you shouldn't fuck around with those who play horror games). One time he thought the words were not enough and decided to fight me. A couple of smooth moves - and he was lying on the ground right in front of the girls he was tryna impress. He didn't learn the lesson the first time though, so I had to repeat the process one more time when we were playing snowballs. Years later I've learnt that the fella said he was afraid to fight me.
@@Josh_1312 these are great! Tysm for sharing. Absolutely agree about f***in around with those who play horror games.. no good look, not gonna end well lol. Love that these losers absolutely Found out. 👊😎🔥
Dissapointing he never actually helped anyone find out anything. He didn't do anything to cell phone dude, bike guy rode away and the coffee shop clown didn't receive any finding out. So........ "F-around and you won't find out" 🤣
@@powertothesheeple5422 🤣🤣 you ain’t wrong about that. I felt like the chorus was an invitation or maybe a caution sign, if you will. Currently working on a “found out” track from Barry. I’ll make it up to you lol
