Barry Bonds Overlanding Rig - 2021 Land Rover Defender Walkaround

While Barry & I were overlanding along the Mojave Trail during my Overlanding for Warriors Event this past Veterans Weekend, we were able to break away for a little bit to sit down and talk about how he got interested in Overlanding. And a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Barry for donating some autographed pics and baseballs for the raffle at the end of this event which raised over $3,300 for Wounded Warrior Project!!!
Barry also gives us a quick walkaround of his 2021 Land Rover Defender that he is just beginning his build process. Barry has big plans for this rig and I have been sworn to secrecy with the many upgrades that will soon be taking place. All I can say is this rig will definitely be one of the most capable rigs out on the trail for a very long extended period of time.

This is awesome content. I haven’t seen many defenders really set up like this. I’m a lifelong baseball fan and wish I would have seen Barry in this light years ago. He is so down to earth and humble which is not how he was perceived in his playing days. It’s great to see him find such joy in that environment and surround himself with good people. Hope to see him continue the overlanding journey.

Funny- I had always been into camping and mountain biking, but had never heard of Overlanding until it became my pandemic therapy and new hobby. Built my first rig in 2020 and now I’m hooked. And yes, we are never done adding and tweaking, that’s 1/2 the fun. This is awesome!
