Sad that he's gone, but I'm really pleased that with his passing he's received the respect he earned as an entertainer. I'm glad that it has been shown how much the Chuckle Brothers and the Paton Brothers meant to several generations of people who grew up watching them. As well as my thoughts being with all Barry's closest, I particularly hope that Paul will find happiness in whatever he decides to do professionally, be it to continue in some way or retire.
97channel Just wait for bullshit claims that he was a paedophile or a perv. You know what they are like, they'll tarnish his name with no evidence what so ever.
He's apparently going into DJing is one thing Barry did say is to continue doing as he wanted so yeah.... respect that completely Maybe that music thing he did during the video is something by way of that, interesting be interesting see what he does
RIP Barry, what a best memories especially I met Barry and Paul have there picture taken and sign the autograph after the show at Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth back in July 2013.
rest in peace barry. you was a huge part of my childhood, you’re a legend !!! i remember going to see them both at a show with my family when i was a kid and i loved it.
R.I.P. Barry, Thank you for being a big part of my childhood and thank you for the laughs over the years. You can now make heaven laugh a lot more. Always tried to see the chuckle brothers live when i could because i loved it every time. Time to be knighted me thinks! Thank you Sir Barry, your memory will live on. From me To You 😭 Sending Condolences To Paul, Jimmy, Brian And Rest Of His Family At This Sad Time.
Their famous catchphrase will long long outlast both of them. For many years to come it will be the anthem of shifting anything heavy/awkward to the point where there will be a generation still doing it and they won't even know where on earth it came from and it warms my heart to not hope for that, but to know it.
Watched ther live show in scarbourgh as a young family we still tell everybody how good it was two nice lads with no edge about them thanks for the memories
Anyone who doesn’t know the Chuckle brothers do not understand how huge they were. In England they were equivalent to Sesame Street in terms of popularity.
Amazed CBBC said anything since they cancelled the show and haven't aired since like 2011/2013. Nice little tribute though, saw the Chuckle brothers and got their autograph, RIP Barry!
will have a look, I have not watched bbc for year except when they aired a Chucklevision special in 2014/2015 few years back on christmas day, don';t really watch, but will have a look
He and his brother had a different style of humour which worked well with a UK audience both young and old alike. Now he has left us and we will never see their like again.
Saw the Chuckle Brothers and the others from the cast twice at Skegness one being the Harry Potter cover and the other show being more if the casual great nonsense we all love, while it was mainly aimed at children there was some extremely hilarious unscripted bits that shouldn't of happened but did and that made it even greater as they just went with it and even the more adult jokes were brilliant too. Will miss getting to see them a 3rd time but was memorable when I did, RIP Barry you will be missed.
Give him chance! He has just lost his Brother and Wing Man. In time he will decide what he wants to do . Right now it is just too raw and he only burried his Brother on Friday!
+Robert Thompson, Hey, that's my idea. It's also my Dad's, My Brother's and my girlfriends. You know what, they have to do it now, way too many people expect it.
