Hearn doesn’t know anything about why ronnie hit the balls hard out of the snooker. The reason why ronnie ‘hit n hoped’ was a planned tactic at a planned time if it arose to upset selbys rhythm and flow and distract him get his mind off the job and it worked!!! Yes the balls could have gone over pockets but you saw it wasn’t reckless cos these were calculated escapes at pace. The occasional one was full tilt to disrupt the game. Ronnie had laid his stall out prior to the match that hed win by all out attacking and not get bogged down in long safety. This meant that it was always going to be a close call with rocket sacrificing the grinder frames selby loves and get them over quick so he could win his scoring frames faster. Less energy wasted - less fuss. It worked. Ask someone who actually understands snooker next time

Ronnie got in Selby's head and that's why he lost and got upset. Ronnie plays up to the Media, in particular, the BBC I get the feeling he hates all the sucking up they do so has some fun with silly comments.

Snooker is such an amazing charade of funny characters, including mr. Hearn, and that's why I love it so much...
