I visit Barry Island Pleasure Park and the day did not go to plan, the rides were mostly closed even though I was told they would be open when I rang the park in advance, I enjoyed Barry Island though it has a lovely beach and my lunch was great! in my opinion Pleasure Park should not open with just a couple of rides open it doesn't make any sense to me and I have never experienced something like that before! better customer service is needed here.

I live in Barry, used to visit Barry Island when the holiday camp was there....been over there a few times, but its a major shadow of its former self these days!

Used to visit Barry Island 30 or so years ago. Ty for the video. So disappointing that it has run down so far.

The time of year I visited to be honest affected the experience- but if you were told certain things will be open and then get that what I got it wasn't great to say the least - I am sure If I went in the summer when the rides were all operating I would have a different experience with the offering It's 1 of those - you can't always get a great experience sometimes

Me and my family love barry island. We live about 20 mins away and its our go to beach. I've never seen it look so quiet though. Everytime we're there its heaving and full of bus trips. Think you picked on off day tbh. Sucks you didnt have a good time. It is usually better than that i promise.

The beach itself is really nice - shame about the way Pleasure Park is run, though - it needs to be either open or closed, none of this 2 rides open and possibly another later it's embarrassing - never seen anything like that before anywhere 🤣

That is because the owner of the pleasure park is a twat and he doesn’t care about anything apart for himself he hardly checks safety for rides either 😂

Good vlog sorry to hear it was mostly closed, went there the other day and nothing much was open . Im from Cardiff and sometimes go there. My dad keeps saying do i want to try areo space no way for me lol . but one of My favourites is the miami ride .

I went on a weekday, but I only did that because I was told by the member of staff when I rang that all of the rides will be open - very strange that they only had a few open they should have had it closed in my opinion 😎👌

Did you watch my vlog all the way through and the experience I had? If you did, then you will know it wasn't a good visit, unfortunately I was told prior to travelling down that certain rides would be open, and that wasn't the case

It will be a lot better on the weekends with most of the rides open - having said that it's the worst operated park I have ever seen on the day I visited 🤔
