Shame it cuts out just before Barry does his 10 films of the 80s. At least we know 4 of them: E.T. Gregory's Girl Raging Bull The Cook, The Thief, His Wife & Her Lover
I don't hate Dead Poets' Society the way every other too-cool-for-school pundit looks back on it. But one can't help feeling the seeds of the Nazi Party being sown in this scene - the charismatic leader capitalising on the angst of the community, and the destruction of the printed word to go with it.
Yes CW is a bad as her name sounds. BN was good - until you reflect on his pomposity and blinded favour of British Cinema. British Cinema can be seen in these clips - and when you compare to USA film production, its utter shite. FIsh called wanda? utter tosh. The odd good movie - Gregorys GIrl being one...low budget classic. Trainspotting in the 90s. British cinema is not good but we are brainwashed into thinking it by dinosaurs like BN and pishy CW.
