@@thebigflop3118 they dont, f3 ( barnes opening ) blocks the important knight from developing and doesnt allow any pieces to develop, while also giving up the center, it also weaken the diagonal e1-h4 meaning weakening the kingside. ( f3 have no strengths ) f4 ( bird's opening ), is a flank opening where you are aiming to control the centre, creating a flank pawn, while its weakness is also weakening the kingside but that is also its only weakness

as a chess player, the chess board is inaccurate because the king and queen placement has been swapped, in here the king is at d1 ( white ) and queen at e1 while it was supposed to be king at e1 and queen at d1, also barry played the bird's opening, an aggresive flank opening that create an flank pawn, it is considered risky but rewarding if you learn the opening carefully.
