Kyren is always the underdog for the championship in recent years. Imo he might not be a very dominant player but could very likely end up being the next Graeme Dott or Stuart Bingham. I like the fire in his eyes when he’s on the table.
@@harveyspecter5392 Yeah I agree, he's definitely got the potential, I wouldn't say you're clueless. But such fine lines seem to separate players and champions...they all seem to have the technical ability, just perhaps the mental strength is the only thing to set them apart. Ronnie for instance - doesn't always have he most consistency...but he consistently seems to be able to clinch it at the end...the number of times you see him take the deciding frame, or needs the final black - and never misses, never let's the pressure get to him when it counts. Amazing talent obviously (as has Kyren) but it's that winning strength of character... same with Davis, Hendry, et al
aquacruisedb Yeah absolutely with u on the mentality things. Ding is another great example for having probably the worst mental strength in the circuit. He got every skill a first class top notch player needs to have but he always fails to perform his best while facing other big names. And Kyren as u said, he definitely has the same problem. Lets hope they all will show their best side consistently and compete with other players on the way to the mountain top. As what Judd Trump told us last year, a potential player could be like a machine once he found the consistency and the right game plan.
Kyran is a bottle job... This like darts is all about bottle, Phil Taylor, Hendry, Barney, osulivan, Davis all names with bottle. I don't know what it is and how you add it to your armory. Michael Smith at darts prime example of no bottle... Players to deffo avoid If betting that's for sure.. I understand with Ding as he has the weight of China on his shoulders.
Much admired and respected snooker coach. Your snooker channel has helped me and countless other players from around the globe. Keep up the great work Barry.
I know you think I'll be talking bullshit but why snooker attracts me is that it's really a sport that age won't make u worst but maybe even more sophisticated, I've watched coach Barry's tutorial video since the first clip, respect !
Beautiful break Barry, loved the pink in the side to get that going, just lovely! Tough opponent today! Can't wait to watch more of Mr. Wilson this year! Cheers boys!
That was a very nice break Barry!!!...Would've gone for the easy pink in the middle to secure a better position on the yellow. Total respect to you coach and thanks for teaching us through your Snooker No1 Channel
In next years I think that he will be eventually a much more solid favourite for the Worlds. Specially with the aging of Ronnie's era (Ronnie, Higgins,Williams, Bingham,...) and Selby's era (Selby, Murphy, Robertson,...)
No matter how skilled you are at the game and even if you're making 147 breaks all the time, so long as playing snooker is not your primary source of income then you're considered an "Amateur". For "Professionals" playing snooker is their livelihood, their bread and butter, how they make a living. Barry's a professional snooker coach, it's his, to put it bluntly, profession. It's his job to teach and coach other players.
Nice break did t you fancy the pink after the first red, could have come back for the reds on the other side of the pack and the pink would have spotted if not on its own on the blue?
Have you not heard of the seniours tour, its over 40, so guys like Williams, Higgins, Osullivan could enter if they wanted lmao. But they have more touraments one coming up next week I think
