About a year ago I used the Bars Leaks Block Seal Permanent Head Gasket Fix on our 2002 Chrysler 300M. Our car was diagnosed with a bad head gasket and we were quoted a price to fix it of over 2000 dollars. We decided that was not an option for us and looked for a different option and decided to use Bars Leaks Head Gasket Fix. In this video I update how it has worked for us and show you the inside of the coolant reservoir, the leaks on the ground, and the mileage of the car. We did loose some coolant and I needed to add a some in this video. I also give my opinion of how well it has worked for us. How well this works or if it works at all will depend on a lot of factors, but for us it worked as good as we expected. I will link the original video where I use and review Bars Leaks Block Seal Permanent Head Gasket Fix at the end of this video, if you are interested and have time please check that video out. Thanks for watching!

I installed a rebuilt head on my 1974 Datsun, after it spit the gasket. It still continued to leak coolant into the cylinders. Most likely an issue with the block deck. So I tried this sealer and it worked instantly. Time will tell if it keeps working, but so far so good. Just remember to shake it a lot before installing it.

I’m assuming that your car doesn’t overheat anymore? I may have missed it if you mentioned that.

YOLO. It's an older inexpensive car. I'd say give it a go! I just threw it in a 2013 dodge journey lol. No leaks yet.

Replace my rangers head gasket with basically no experience, youtube, and some help from my grandpa…. And she blew again 3 months later. Could be due to the cracked head we halfass repaired with jb weld. But it definitely is possible

So you only put 1,000 miles on the car in a year?

Would it work in a 1997 Ford 150

All makes and models, just be sure to read instructions and have the heater going when your letting it idle for the 15 minutes. If you don't the heater core and everything else may become clogged.

So a year later and you only managed to put 1,000 miles on the vehicle? Thats really not much of an update honestly.

@@danagold7115 yeah I watched that one too. I did eventually use the product you used but didnt have the hoped for results. In the process now of doing a full head gasket job and cylinder head because it overheated too much. Oh well. Perhaps if I used it sooner it would have prevented all this.

Head gasket seems to have blown last week and I put half a bottle for my 3 cylinder Honda civic. Coolant reservoir cap keeps blowing off. Two days in its still overheating after driving for half an hour. I was told it should take a few days and some start ups to start working, I’ll report back after a week. (Car passed the 20 minute idle test and I blasted the fan/heat while on idle for 15 minutes)

Not much of a test, you only drove the car a thousand miles in one year? What kind of test is that? No real information here other than to not open the radiator cap while the engine's hot...🙄🙄
