Man it’s so sad that Nicki went through a hate train during the queen era because that album has some of her best bars, but all the drama drowned out the music
@@treparx1996 yes she didn't, she's more talented than Travis, but people make it look like it's flop when it's not on the charts,it had little radio play, so for it to even go no 2 it was massive.
@@treparx1996 that album was to show case skills, so it was kind of personal to fans and somehow haters, any ordinary person can't flow in it it was kind of technical. so that debut was nice but I understand your point.
She recorded this song after she did No Frauds and remember in the hook she kept saying “pick a side”. That’s why she says in Hard White “Just last week I told em to pick a side” 🤘🏽🤘🏽🔥🔥 Basically it was recorded around early 2017!
@@LususxNaturae yeah for his 2017 album, remember she said pick a side in No Frauds? Hard white was made after, that’s why the opening line is “just last week I told Em to pick a side”
This is my favorite song on the Queen Album so far because of the hook, the bars, her alliteration but also because it was Nicki alone and no feature, she just murdered it and all you can do is love it and appreciate the Queen's talent
What were Bardi Gang mad about ? Uh Cardi had 3 number ones and her album was doing good on billboard nowhere was anybody worried about a stripper line in this whack ass flop ass song. Imagine thinking we care when our girl is out charting y’all’s 😂
@@bronxbonnie1235 why are you in the comments to this video then? If you “arent paying attention to this whack ass song” ? Seems like youre paying attention
This song was recorded in 2017 when Nicki and Remy was going at it. That’s why Nicki said “just last week I told em to pick a side” remember in No frauds she said “pick a side”. And the line where she says “I ain’t never play the hoe position, I ain’t have to to strip to get the pole position” it’s a double entendre because we know strippers dance on poles but win you’re a race car driver you’re playing to win the pole position. And cardi wasn’t out when Nicki wrote this song. But they would assume she was talking about her because she put the song on the Queen album. It shows that people felt like cardi was a hoe then besides her just being a stripper
I can go into waaaay deeper BUT this video is the underworld version to the ganja burn video. This is Nicki and her Kingdom in GB they where in sun, sand and gold , here they are in the moon, dust and leather/metal but in BOTH they are protecting her
Do y'all even know what pole position is???..... It's not a person, its the position of the first car of a race when it starts....and all these new female rappers used to be strippers but Nicki "sint never had to strip for the pole position"..... It's the best bar in the song. Period
Nicki whole album was basically dissing cardi... she should’ve chose something else to base her album off of because this album was a flop...pink print and pink Friday will always be my favorite albums
The whole album wasn't about Cardi. Some songs were about Cardi and new girls showing her fake love and disrespecting her. The album wasn't a flop it was just overlooked. The album could've hit number one if it weren't for labels manipulating their artists numbers.
@@harmonixer5686 every song was her dissing cardi . That made people look at her as a hater. Cardi wasn’t doing all that dissing because cardi wasn’t looking for a beef she just wanted to maker her music and stack up some money. I wish these two never did a song together because they wouldn’t have this stupid internet made beef.
@@itsnotareliablesource4174 Diss Cardi isn't what made her look like a hater. Remy Ma actually is the one who started all of the hate towards Nicki. That's the only reason Nicki talked shit in her music more than she has in the last 4 years. Cardi wasn't dissing because she was singing songs that wasn't hers. She had a problem with Nicki from Jumpstart. Everybody just saw Nicki as the problem somehow.
@@harmonixer5686 I won’t put all the blame on her because they all play a bug part in the beef and cardi didn’t have a problem with Nicki until the sneak dissing started from Nicki sooo yeah
@@thedothrakian6355 umm i'm actually not...this song was recorded before cardi even was a thing and before they even had beef. She said this line because Eve was at the time on a talk show and Nicki's photoshoot was being discussed and Eve said something along the lines of "Nicki is a role model and shouldn't be sexualizing herself like that" So Nicki said this because Eve used to be a stripper before she was a rapper.
