Thank you!! Wanted to return these 2 chairs to Amazon but could not get them apart - until we found you! That was easy...but, of course, it is easy when you know how - and impossible when you don't. Thanks again.
Soooo grateful for your video! Everything you instructed worked perfectly!! I have three stools to take apart to send back to Wayfair... I never ever would have figured out how to disassemble them on my own! Thank you!!
THANK YOU so much for this video!!! I was beginning to think it was a trick or something because it felt like it took forever for the circular foot pad of the bar stool to separate. I used WD-40 and let it soak for about 10 minutes and still it took almost a full minute of banging for the separation to finally occur. The other part separated much faster. One recommendation I have for you and others is to make sure the hydraulic tube is fully compressed before taking off the circular foot pad because if it's fully extended, it's really tough to compress when it's exposed. Anyway, thanks for your guidance!
Lord, I didn't remove the cap and I thought I messed it all up, but I went back and removed the cap stuck inside the upper part of the stand knocked it out with a screwdriver and reassembled it. Works perfectly ❤
I have only one regret.. not having watched this before try to fix my bar stool.. I have done exactly the mistake at the end of the video.. by the way really a useful video ty
Ohh man! You saved my time. The sellers never would like to provide disassembly instructions. May be they dont want us to return in case we dont like the stool?
Thank you. The block of wood did the trick. I tried using a rubber mallet but I couldn't get the cylinder out! Now I just need to figure out how to compress the hydraulic cylinder since it expanded to full height while I was hammering.
Thank you, very nice explanation. In my case it was very difficult to leave the hydraulic system, so I had to hit a couple of times in a position and then turn the base and hit again, and so on, until it came out as in the video
I have tried using the hammer and block of wood, and also rubber mallet, but cannot get it to budge. Any advice? I'm still at the base hydraulic system.
The first one came off easily, as shown. The second one, I ended up needing to match a medium depth socket from my tool set to the diameter of the metal ring. That allows you to hammer the top of the socket and pop the pneumatic/hydraulic cylinder out without touching the plastic center piece. It also allows you to avoid notching the metal ring with a screwdriver as you pound at it, lol!
Thank you for the video. Wonder if anyone knows the p/n to the seat only not the entire stool so I can replace mine as it been ripped. I like this stool. Thanks
you make it look so easy, am trying to transfer one bottom onto one stool to another but will not work, ive tried wd40 spray. to be honest it got that bad i smashed them up and put them outside for the scrap man
Hi was wonder I know this video is old but I have the Zuri Lush bar stools square and I can't get the gas lift out I was wondering if you can make a video on that bar stool. thanks
