That guy was actually making some solid points. The same people worried about the WEF and "you'll own nothing" are often huge into crypto which exists in the ether. And it will eventually be coopted by these authoritarian governments. They'll either going to regulate the shit out of legacy crypto or undermine legacy crypto through subsidized government crypto. That's already in the works. That's how they are going to fund the welfare states that they can't afford as birth rates are below replacement level. They will be able to shave points of your government crypto investment through taxes imposed after the fact and you cant do anything about it. "Are you complaining?" He made great points. BTC is a ponzi scheme and will fizzle out. Its nothing but 1's and 0's and we know anything electronic can be manipulated, hacked, spoofed. There is no intrinsic value. Gold and Silver and 10's of thousands of years of history being used as currency and a store of wealth. Yes there has been alot of money made and there will be more money to be made with crypto but eventually, the wheels will come off and you will be left with nothing. Take that same money and plow into gold and silver and you actually have something finite that is a historical store of wealth. The big trading houses, central banks and wealthiest families in the world are using the paper market to keep spot prices down so they can buy physical metals on the cheap. Once they have what they want/need the rug comes out, crypto goes to zero and PM"s skyrocket.
