I remember the days when the owner of a company planned the layout of his new office space with an architect to insure it got built just the way he wanted it. As opposed to walking the new office floor having no idea what was where and complaining as if they he had no control over what was built.

No, people hire a builder for that. Pretty much one guy to manage and schedule all the different contractors. This guy would have no oversight unless he was a micro manager. Plus he said his most important thing was his calendar for placing bets so that's prob the better use of his time.
