Bartók Romanian Folk Dances | Hannah Tam 

Hey Hannah fellow Hongkonger here, I just discovered your channel through Twoset. I recently played a orchestra version of this piece, is nice to see another rendition of the same piece! The harmonics were perfect, I would never be able to play like this! Thank you for posting this incredible performance and add oil!

Pretty sure I've never heard harmonics used melodically like this before. Colour me impressed, and all the more so because all the technical brilliance here is 100% serving the music rather than competing with it.

You play so beautifully. The capacity you show in flawlessly transitioning between meaty (sorry, that may not be the correct word to express my thoughts - I mean this word in reference to the texture and fullness of the notes), strong sections to delicate, creeping sections that feel like a spider darting over one's hand, or catching a glimpse of the artistry of a dew-laden spiderweb at dawn as it glitters in the fresh light, is highly impressive. Your rendition feels like buttery smooth silk against the skin as one waltzes through the open air beneath a sky which hold the cusp of dusk and dark night, with ideas and creatures of myth long since forgotten swaying around one in all their melancholic celebration. Sorry if this is difficult to understand - what I mean to say is, the highest compliments to you for persevering with your music. Teasing such beauty from an instrument as delicate as one of the Strings family requires more than talent, and while you are clearly very talented, one can see that you've put an extraordinary amount of effort into your instrument. It has most definitely paid off. Thank you for sharing this stunning rendition with us, Miss Hannah.🌹🎵🎻
