This was the very last station stop for the BART legacy fleet. This was following the celebration that took place at the MacArthur BART station on 4/20/24. Three legacy train sets took excursionists down to Fremont from MacArthur BART (Oakland, Ca.), recreating the first BART run in 1972. Only the first train brought passengers back to Oakland since it was loaded with media and VIP's, and only went as far as Bay Fair. The other two trains deposited their riders in Fremont. This is train number 3 and is returning back to the South Hayward BART yard. This would be the very last time a legacy string makes a station stop. Notice the air horn during the first few seconds of this video.
