My first introduction to the Death Korps of Krieg was a shitty meme of a Krieger commander with arms crossed and it was just captioned: "This is Krieg Guardsmen! We use gender-neutral pronouns here like: cannon fodder, expendable, and dead." Every time the Korps comes up I think of that meme lol.

Fun thing about the Krieg, non-Krieg Commissars don’t encourage Krieg battalions. Any Commissar assigned to Krieg regiments and armies are essentially there for tactical advice and trying to reign in the Krieg to keep them from doing too many suicidal last stands and/or charging forward to gain more ground and THEN make another last stand in a forward bastion.

Imperial Guard Commesar : How many times do I have to tell them not to get high at the bar? Krieg Commesar: How many times do I have to tell them not to attack a tank, Titan, or Chaos Space Marine with a shovel?

Another Lorefact is that the Deathkorps dont have Paramedic's. There Equivalent are Quatermasters, These Guardsman walk around the Battlefied when the Battle is over and Shoot every still living Soldier who is serious wonded, and took the equipment for later Using. The Equipment of a Krieg- Guardsman is more worth than his/her life. And the Gear can be used for the Next Generation or Wave of Guarsdman who serv the Emperor for the mortification of there Ancestors who allows the Traitors to Attack the Imperian Gouverment on Krieg. There be Indoctrinatet that they have to pay the Dept of the Ancestors by dying in the Imperial Service The Emperor protects

That Krieg video where they are running with the Dark Angels.. oh yeah, there's rarely a room in 40k more intimidating that dealing with a Krieg Force Commander, a Dark Angel Interrogator-Chaplain, and Dark Angel Force Commander... Commissar's cry in fear in the thought of going in that room.

Honestly, the only enemy faction that might actually be able to intimidate the Kriegsmen would probably be the Drukhari.

7:00 The writers at Games Workshop (for the most part) are excellent, BUT a *very* common problem across all of them seems to be scale. The writers will write about multi-planet wars that had supposedly lower fatalities than WWII lol. So when you see a number in Warhammer, especially Warhammer 40K, take it with a huge grain of salt.

Cadian commissars stop cadians from running away from the enemy. Krieg commissars stop Kriegers from running at the enemy.

Most Kriegsman are under the age of enlistment because they lie and it's hard to keep 20 regiments of guard from signing up. I think they're usually about 14 and the average lifespan on a battlefield for a Kriegsman is 1 hour.

i think i read somewhere that a battalion of kriegs infantry manage to bring down a titan so... they are fucking AWESOME!!!
