This was an excellent review. You touched in on the most important areas, including the double piercing. This was a very good review, thank you for posting.
I heard the add on my radio station for the 1st time in my truck, got home and immediately looked it up and found your video! Holy Crap!! this is right up my wife and I alley! I know what to get her for Christmas now!! (we love cocktails! where not beer drinkers) Thanks for reviewing this!
One thing I would mention that I like about mine is the money you save on mixers that you may only use once or twice so it saves a lot of space as well as money from having to purchase a bunch of different types of mixtures but really good review
Mine wasn’t working or I’m doing something wrong, and I did just that. The water is just to wash out the machine. I took a capsule, poured it in a cup of ice and poured a shot in the cup. Tastes just like what the bartesian would do. I can’t figure out why mine isn’t mixing. I’m trying it for the first time.
the pods aren’t powder, or at least most of them aren’t powder. They’re kinda like everything you need to make a cocktail in a little pod. in theory you could, but the bartesian mixes it in a way that it’s a consistent drink every time. As for the water it mixes with the pods to dilute them and make them taste not as concentrated. The water also works for the mock tail setting as well as it’s cleaning feature
Witches brew was beautiful (looking) the mock tail tastes great but the vodka is very strong. I wish the machine could be calibrated to have the light be one shot, regular (2), etc etc
We just got one, thinking of returning it. I just don’t get it. Thought it would eliminate having to shake my martini but it doesn’t. Still trying to figure out what it does.
Someone gave it to me as a gift and I didn’t find it super useful. But I’m thinking if I have a party it would be great for people to choose their own mixed drinks.
Great video girl! I was wondering if this gave you a strength option. I’m definitely buying now. Also great info afterwards, I never knew there was a subscription. Thanks for sharing!
They aim to make more money from capsules, you buy the machine once but you continue to buy capsules, I completely respect it, don't get me wrong, it's a good idea. But there is something on my mind, can't we add passionfruit juice to one of the bottles on the side and then mix it? Do we really need to buy these capsules?
Is one capsule used for each drink? Or how much drinks you can made with one capsule. 3€ extra for each drink sounds too expensive, i hope it is not first option
I was a bartender for six years and then later on in life I dabble working events. I couldn't see myself ever getting this for that reason but it's cool for people who want it or don't know how to make cocktails. TFS.
It's a northern expensive gadget that pple who have to keep up with the Jones who have the Jones from blowing money on stupid shit that lands in a closet unless your liver goes firsthand
@@saricomey889 oh well… to each his own, you don’t want it you don’t have to purchase it. I’m grown, my bills are paid and I can afford it. Don’t judge what other people do if they’re not infringing on you. ✌🏾
The price of the pods are a rip off £2.50 a pod not to mention the spirits you need to add, I was gonna buy this until I realised it's cheaper to drink out in a bar.
What I don’t get is that the machine doesnt cool the drinks… I mean… It cost enough to build in a cooling system i would guess. Just make a spiral going through a dry cooler.
I can't stand gin either. I do fine it's fine in a Singapore sling as it's very slight and that horrid flavour works ... in that one drink! LOL. Thank you for the video.
If you have to add the ice and topping and perhaps any fresh squeezed juices then may as well just make the drink yourself. And I doubt it can make a basic Jack and Coke. Pass.
I think Every1 hates gin 😀. They should've done Cognac instead. The margaritas are our favorite as well 🙂. I have the passion fruit flavor, I haven't tried it yet, now I'm tempted. Lol. But I also, haven't tried the uptown rocks yet, which is a gin drink. Lol
I must be the only one who isn’t a fan of this machine. The light is way too strong. I actually measured each one (and not to get too mathematical) but light is roughly 2 shots, regular (3) and strong is (4.5). I have to say it’s much stronger than I would like. The mock tails are good, a little too sweet though. It uses the water compartment in the rear to make mock tails. Unfortunately, the volume (amount of liquid) is about 3 shot glasses worth for the mock tail. Definitely add ice…the drinks just taste better with ice.
I don't drink mixed drinks but when I do I'd rather make some myself that way I know I can get it as strong or as weak as I want to I'm in totally in agreement with you. I think this thing would cost way more than just buying bottles of liquor and having them on a Shelf. For the most part I think it's just a novelty gift.
