The Bartram Living History Festival is May 11, 2024 at Alpine Groves Park.
The festival will hone in on the unique history of Alpine Groves starting with the 1700's and the indigenous peoples that would have occupied the area, the visit of William Bartram, all the way into modern Florida agriculture in the early 1900's. We will be celebrating all of that with some amazing interpreters that are going to come out and bring this history to life.
We will have the North Florida Folk Network on hand to bring us some authentic southern folk music, there will be a kids zone and actual real live cracker cattle. It will be a great time to celebrate one of the more beautiful pieces of property that we have here in St. Johns County.
Admission is free to the festival as well as a free shuttle from Hickory Creek Elementary.
