The tutorial shows how to perform a base and rover survey with Trimble R8 model 3, complete with 220 channels, GNSS and GALILEO. As a controller we used the Trimble TSC2 with the Trimble Survey Controller software.
The video explains what are the advantages of having a base and rover and the main cases in which this system can be useful.

Saludos, gracias por compartir la serie de videos de los GPS Trimble R-8, me han sido de gran ayuda. En cuanto al metodo de medición base y rover: ¿Se puede conectar más de un (rover) a una misma base y medir simultáneamente sin afectar la precisión de los datos levantados en campo? ¿Tiene que tener la base y el rover exactamente las mismas constelaciones? ¿Puede un rover de distinta marca (Stonex, Topcon, Leica etc..) conectarse a una base Trimble?

Hola, se puede conectare mas de un rover a la base sin afectar la precisión, deben tener la misma frequencia. No deben tener la misma constelacion. En cuanto a la marca creo que Stonex puede conectarse con Trimble, pero no soy seguara, hay que contorlar.

sono giuseppe, ho un r6 del 2008, vorrei acquistare una base per il mio rover. Considera che da molto tempo non utilizzo la mia strumentazione, adesso vorrei rifarmi un po di esperienza ed anche capire che software dovrei utilizzare visto che quelli di trimble con la fusione del computer sono stati persi. innanzitutto vorrei un confronto al fine di riattivarmi ecc grazie

Hai dimenticato di spiegare che i punti rilevati avranno un errore sistematico legato al fatto che le coordinate della base sono imprecise. Sarebbe stato meglio registrare il rinex della base e riprocessare tutto in ufficio...

Buongiorno, grazie per il suo feedback. In realtà le coordinate le uso solamente per questione di comodità e velocità, in realtà in ufficio le riporto a zero, in modo da lavorare su un piano relativo.
