Hello everyone. Today I'm showing you some base game kitchen ideas I've been using in my videos for quite some time now. This is a Sims 4 building tutorial using no cc and no mods. This is very similar building tip to the debug canvas trick I showed you guys a while ago ( • FUNCTIONAL FURNITURE N... ) except we are using the debug vent which doesn't snap to the wall thus making building this much easier.

Does the game consider those cups, mugs, bowls, etc, as dirty dishes in gameplay? Cause if not, then that's definitely something I'd love to do. But as far as I know, most of the dishes that are debug are considered "dirty" and will begin to smell after a while >:

@@SummerrplaysSims I found some "empty" cups in the debug menu, but the game just considered them dirty dishes. Same for the empty mixing bowls and pots. I just want to find some dishes that the game doesn't consider dirty lol

I love these builds. I have a question though, I can't tell if it's editing or a tool you use, but at the 44 second mark, in an instant everything you had been manually moving was suddenly perfectly alighted. Is there a magical mod or tool I've missed that does that, or was it the power of editing? Thanks!!!

Beautiful job! ALSO, The black sticks you used to create the glass and picture frame holder? How come on ps4? It doesn’t allow me to use it for upper and only for lower ( meaning only able to place on the ground )

Okay I’m having an issue with the vents you put on the counters. You know how you have one vent on the bottom half of the counter then you put another above that one to cover the whole counter? Well everytime I close out the game and come back, all those vents on the top half move down to floor level again. I have to keep moving them back up

@@SummerrplaysSims yeah I’m not sure why this is happening. I’ve never had an issue like this before. But it seems to only be debug items that moved. I tried saving it to the gallery, deleting it and replacing it and I think that works d

Hi. I’m trying to build those shelves I have next to the fridge. It doesn’t let me put the black things next to the shelves to make it look complete. It’s only going on the floor or somewhere else

The light you put above the fridge as handles won’t go on the cabinet for me, keeps going on the wall or like in the air infront of the cabinet! How do I get it on it?

Iron posts. They are in debug, you have to find them in the catalog. They are just called debug and cant search for them by name

They are Iron fence posts, I'm not sure how it works on console, sorry. They can only be found in debug

On console you just have to plug in mouse and key board to make debug work but as far as the iron posts I can’t find them on console as well

@@olivia-qp8jt whenever I can’t find the debug items, I put that liveeditobjects cheat and then I go to the little chair and choose show all, then hit L2 to open the search box and don’t type anything in it, just hit R2 and all the debug items will show up

a doubt, how do you cover objects in black, whenever I try they stick to the wall and it won't let me ;;;

Use the debug vent, that one won't stick. Or just delete walls, place the vents then add the walls back

How do you get the little menu to show up on the left of the specific counter? So you can choose an end piece or corner piece?

you need to have auto counters off. Click on the gear icon by the counter and it will give you an option

the upper ones are spa day, just turned around. The bottom from island living, again turned around and then I added a sized down stove and used that as handles

its all in debug and you have too scroll through the catalog. I recommend using TwistedMexis Better Build Buy and then you can just search for those by name

make sure you have all the cheats in correctly. First testing cheats true, then bb.moveobjects, bb.showhiddenobjects and lastly bb.showliveeditobjects. Check the spelling aswell

yeah, it can be hard to find. You just have to go thorough the whole catalog. Helps if you filter to base game only. OR of you use mods I suggest Twisted Mexi's Better Build Buy and then you can actually just search for all debug items.

you need the debug vent. Have all the cheats on, filter for base game and that should make it easier to find

@@addyblake09 you have to use the debug vent, otherwise, it does snap to the wall. You can delete the wall behind, place the vent and then build the wall. Or find the debug vent in the debug menu, that one doesn't snap to the wall
