You combined two of my favorite scrapbooking techniques: borders and base pages. I am excited to hear about the upcoming Base Page Videos and might consider joining along with you. I normally try to limit myself to just 10 base pages, but for this special occasion, I may let it go up to 20. 😊
It will be this fall. I am working on the schedule now. Hope you will join me :) I hope your inspired to create. Ty for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a great day.
I enjoy watching how to make base pages. I haven't tried it yet. I started out learning the "old school" way of choosing photos first, then deciding how to arrange the photos, then choose the papers, etc. I need to change my mindset from needing to know what photos/events I will be scrapping ahead of time. I love the tip of using the 2 "unwanted" strips to tape all of the strips together into a band before adhering them to the page. Genius!
YOU CAN DO IT>.. I am excited to see what you think when we start using the base pages this fall. HUGS friend. I hope your inspired to create. Ty for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a great day.
These base pages turned out great, I’m looking forward to seeing how you use them. I love base page videos, both the before and after. It’s awesome what you can do with border strips, so versatile! I love these videos.
Great pages. Love your designs. I make base pages. I use them when I think about them. Need to keep them more acessable. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the video series using the pages.
Yep I love making base pages. I have a whole album of them. I have vowed to not make anymore until I use some of the ones I already have...lol....They are a great way to use your scraps.
I love this series! I also have an album to store base pages and try to check those first when creating. FYI....the Creative Memories strips were called Zesty Geometries Short Cuts and were sold in several different formats. I can't wait to see your finished pages!!
Love this idea. I have never used base pages before. I have seen it and it has not appealed to my weird brain. I like the border strip jumping off point. I will give this a try. Thanks!
I am so glad your trying it. I hope you enjoy the process. I hope your inspired to create. Ty for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a great day.

watching the video - finally - saw this and was waiting a couple days til this came out. How wide do you make the borders? I loved watching this video and even rewatched it - love your personality and can't wait to see more! Keep being YOU!
Whatever my scraps are in general is what I use. I don't really measure. With that Said most are boarder strips so they are 1/2' wide. :) hope that helps.
You can do it! Try just making one and see if it inspires you. :) Maybe try larger strips to begin with. It really is trial and error. Tempory tape is the key in my opinion. I hope your inspired to create. Ty for watching and taking the time to comment. Have a great day.
