La Romana is the third-largest city in the Dominican Republic with modern La Romana International Airport only a 5-minute drive from Casa de Campo Resort and the city centre about 10 minutes away. The Golf Road Warriors took the opportunity to catch a little local flavour at a baseball game at Estadio Francisco Micheli, home to the Toros del Este, a baseball team in the Dominican Winter League.
