An ex-coworker of mine used to be Billy Bruton's paperboy as a kid. He said all the other kids at school were jealous of him growing up.

Walter O'Malley couldn't stand that the Brooklyn Dodgers didn't have the space and new stadium like the Braves.

The Dodgers made more money overall because of radio and television rights . The Braves had a larger attendance and that drove O' Malley nuts.

@kevinmadden1645 In a few years after 1955 the Dodgers attendance would be soaring and Braves attendance would be declining until they left for Atlanta

Hank Aaron is baseball's all time home run leader with 755 home runs, but never hit 50 in a season. I refuse to acknowledge Barry Bonds as all time home run leader since he cheated by bulking up on steroidss, so to me, Aaron still has the record.
