As per the request at 15:21; till now the plot seems to me like of "Shutter Island" Well as i thought the plot are quite similar but just the events and affairs differ from each other, as in here the story revolves in future and past according to protagonist POV, though the story in shutter Island was also according to protagonist POV but was related solely to delusions in present time and fragments of the past. But basically the climax is alik, that the protagonists in both novels did discover that they were actually delusional. So like how the end was concluded in the shutter Island, even here she should also be lobotomized! PS- the novel " God's crooked lines" was published in the year 1979, whereas the "Shutter Island" came in 2003.

CORRECT EXPLAINATION :- her husband was diagnosing her crazyness that's why she killed him but then thought that if she escaped illegally then she might get caught somehow somewhere.. so she create a masterplan.. she convince her doctr that she will go to mental hospital without arguing and he agreed upon it and she did the same.. but the plot is that " she uses the entire mental hospital (the doctrs, the patients, the daily routine situations of the hospital, the policemen, and ofcourse her fake stories).. she uses everyone around her like pawns by controlling their mind,s by her words and manipulation.. in the end she convince everyone that she was always innocent and was unneccessary faced punishments by the hospital still stands for innocent patients and exposed corrupt hospital system.. also she somehow cunningly prove guilty to anyone whoever came between her original plan. for example the sr doctr who gave resignation.. ENDING SCENE :- she finally got succeeded in her original plan.. got official release from hospital and police both without any husband's murder investigation ever happened.. but she changes her face expressions confusingly when she saw her original doctr at the end, because her mind was finally tired and she couldnt continue her lying plan anymore.. she accidentally revealed herself her real look (her liar killer identity)..
