Basement is my favorite band of all time. I may not listen to them as much as I used to but that doesn’t change anything. I’ve been listening to their shit for 6 years now. Brought me from 7th grade to freshman year of college in September. What an amazing journey it’s been.
9:27 Those calm intros that follow up with a very chaotic play That stuff in punk (don't reply to me with any genre corrections) is almost as overused as breakdowns in the -core genres I'm not saying this makes the songs individually bad, but it's tiring to hear that in every 2nd song Anyways, Basement is awesome nonetheless
Dude I think this is solid. I'm literally a fool for every single Basement song. Every single one. I'm just that person. My "Strictly in the basement" playlist has gotten me through some ignorant paranoid street times. This is my headphone music. I'm gonna kick my hi-hat tomorrow if these songs don't get me through another dented chest of a night. But I think it will again. Every song I have found by them i'll listen to and like it again. I must be boring, but I just do it. Idk why I typed this. My insomnia talking to a white judgmental page. Oh well.
