Very well made video! No time wasted, Informative & easy to understand !!! I have a similar basement that I intend to improve in much the same way as your good self sir so found this very helpful & inspirational!! I have been told by my doctor to consider alternatives to my current employment as a back injury has made it necessary to re-adjust my options for earning a living & this could be one solution. big difference already, nice work. the wall with the smaller opening, looks a good place for storage, are you going to open it out to the room? I know you'll probably show it in the next video but i'm impatient :)

I would consider it but the cleats always fill up with saw dust, especially with all my sanding tools sitting there.

The brick partition, i can guarentee it used to be a fireplace chimney. The hole thats in it, you could get away with a single wall stove pipe on a stove/furnace/heater, going thru there without worry. Im actually a little jealous of that

I was thinking about doing something like that but I found out the chimney doesn't actually go anywhere. They broke the top off in the attic and roofed over it.
