@adicandra58 I want to show some analyzer screens from the built-in oscilloscope of my FNIRSI- FNB48B USB tester but I'm afraid that if there is many information then the average viewer will be confused. Therefore, I'm trying to keep all testings very simple to not make things more complicated.

What's the difference between the Baseus 100W GaN2 Pro Type-C+USB 4 Ports Fast Wall Charger and the Baseus 100W GaN5 Pro Type-C+USB 2 Ports Fast Wall Charger? AllThingsOnePlace did a great job reviewing baseus 100W Gan2 and it’s the spec is outstanding. I wasn't sure if the new model Baseus 100W GaN5 performed better than the older model Baseus 100W Gan2. Which one do you recommend getting between the two?
These are two totally different Baseus chargers. You can't compare a 4-port with a 2-port charger. The 100W GaN5 Pro has excellent efficiency and very low temperatures under max output power. Sadly, I don't have a GaN2 Pro 100W to run output tests, mark down its performance as well as the supported charging protocols. Protocol detection is an important testing that most RU-vid reviewers don't do on their videos.
Hi, your video is really awesome! I’d like to ask some question. I just bought one to charge my macbookpro 2014 15inch and charge with type c to magsafe 2 converter. It goes well when my macbook shutdown (the output is only abt 55watt), but when the macbook is on, it turned on and off every 20-30 second. And the power adaptor is hot (around 65-70 degree). The output up to 85 watt I wonder what’s wrong. Any suggestion on my case? Thanks before 🙏🏼
Hi and thanks for sharing your issue here. Did you try charging it with another Magsafe converter? If yes and didn't work either then I assume that your 2014 Macbook is not compatible with a PD3.0 wall charger.
If I had the Baseus 30W GaN5 mini adapter I'd be able to run output tests and share them on my YT channel. Sadly, the Baseus company never sent me anything, neither replied to my emails when I asked to review their products although I am eligible. The good news is that another great company in the industry of USB cables-adapters is interested in my youtube videos which means that new UGREEN videos will be posted in the upcoming months.
Why does this not appear on their homepage? Only the older GaN2 model is there. Are there any issues with this charger and they removed it from the market?
@tdome300 The GaN5 Pro model does not appear on Banggood because it is out of stock. I'm using that charger for more than 6 months and I've got to say that it has exceptional outperformance. Hi, the Baseus charger supports all charging protocols except OPPO OnePlus VOOC (Dash Charge). You can charge your OnePlus 6T phone with that Baseus charger but you will not have fast charging speeds.
Χαίρεται, προμηθεύτηκα το Baseus GaN3 Pro 4 Ports Desktop Charger 65W (αυτό με το καλώδιο πρίζας) το οποίο έχει επίσης μία θύρα type-a στα 60W. Αφού είδα το βίντεο σου όπου αναγνωρίστηκε με το ειδικό στικάκι ως qc3.0, προσπάθησα να βρω έστω μία συσκευή που να τραβάει 60W από qc3.0. Σε κινητό δεν βρήκα καμία. Επίσης η Ugreen ποτέ δεν δίνει θύρα type-a σε τόσο υψηλά Watt. Πάει μέχρι τα 22,5W σε Huawei νομίζω. Τελικά μετά από ψάξιμο νομίζω ότι οι μόνες συσκευές που μπορούν να τραβήξουν 60W από qc3.0 είναι τα power banks της Baseus, πχ το Baseus Adaman Power Bank 20000mAh 65W Quick Charge 3.0.
@christos3431 καλησπέρα! Πιστεύω θα υπάρχουν και power bank απο άλλες εταιρίες που υποστηρίζουν QC3.0 60W input. Ωστόσο, είναι ένα πρωτόκολλο φόρτισης που σπάνια συναντάς σε επιτραπέζιο φορτιστή γι' αυτό και ο συγκεκριμένος Baseus 100W GaN5 Pro είναι ένας απο τους αγαπημένους μου.
hi how about the charger now? is still ok and working fine? as i read at some community post on fb groups there is some ppl that have issue with baseus charger and do you have recomendation for 100w charger for now in same price range?
I use Baseus 100W GaN Pro wall charger daily and haven't noticed any issues. Did someone from those FB groups share any thorough video like mine to show on camera the outperformance? If not, let them know about my in-depth testing-review. That particular Baseus charger (EU plug) works properly and successfully passed all my tests (especially the 100W max output testing). So far, it's the best 100W charger I tested with great outperformance in ambient temperatures. Thanks for checking out my video.
Stop trusting FB source. Only one with defective product comments. And these thing sold for hundred of thousands if not millions of products. So 10-20 defective items is unquestionable

USB-A port doesn't support PD 45W PPS for fast charging your Samsung devices. So, you will have to plug your S23 Ultra/S8 Ultra into the USB-C port of the Baseus 100W GaN5 Pro charger for getting the max charging speed of 45W. If you still wanna use the USB-A port for charging your Samsung you will get only 18W, as this is the max QC3.0 supported speed of your Samsung S23 Ultra.

Καλησπέρα. Δεν θα έχεις πρόβλημα με τον Baseus φορτιστή αφού το μέγιστο του σε power delivery είναι 100W. To λάπτοπ θα "τραβήξει" αυτόματα την ισχύ φόρτισης που χρειάζεται. Απ' οτι είδα και σε 1 manual ο φορτιστής του Latitude 7340 υποστηρίζει 100W, 65W και 60W φορτισεις που ο συγκεκριμένος Baseus φορτιστής είναι επίσης συμβατός και στις 3.

Sadly its not really supporting mi turbo charger. If you plug it into original charger wich comes with the phone you'll notice numbers after dot increasing. For example 56.22% - 56.23% - 56.24% and so on. And its increasing very fast.
@ganijaman The USB-A port of the Baseus GaN5 Pro supports Mi Turbo Charge. I tested it on my Poco, watch carefully my video at 10:20 and you will see the Mi Turbo Charge notification.

Please note that the Gallium Nitride technology (GaN semiconductors) used in this 100W charger reducess the distortion as it has lower parasitic capacitance and inductance than a Silicon-based device. GaN meets the standards of harmonic current limits.
The Type-C port of the Baseus charger supports up to 100W PPS. Your USB device will draw the required max power automatically so yes it will work with 45W PPS devices.
Hi, Thanks for this video. This is the Baseus charger that I've been eyeing out, but I'm afraid to go ahead and get one. I'll explain the reason for this hesitation below, and I hope that you can help me to solve this ordeal once and for all: Can this Baseus 100W Gan5 2-port charger charge my Poco F5 at comparable speeds to that of its own Xiaomi 67W charger? What is the wattage if Poco F5 gets charged with this specefic Baseus charger? Poco F5 has a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC, 5000mAh battery, and comes with a 67W Xiaomi charger. On Qualcomm's page for the mentioned SoC, it notes that it supports Quick Charge 5. Intrestingly enough, GSMArena on its Poco F5's specefications page says that Poco F5 has Quick Charge 4. The strangest thing of them all is that Xiaomi and Poco on their respective pages for Poco F5 don't mention anything about its having any compatability with any generation of Quick Charge whatsoever. What gives? I truly like to have a charger for Poco F5 that frees me from Xiaomi's exclusively proprietary 67W charger and its equally exclusive and supposedly 6 amp charging cable, i.e. even if you charge your Xiaomi phone with its own 67W charger, but, God forbid, with any other cable but that Xiaomi 6 amp cable, for instance a better built 100W one, you still can't get it to Turbo Charge your phone on that 67W; It has to be that damn specefic cable that comes with your Xiaomi phone. Do you think I can get this specific Baseus charger and a good 100W cable to charge my Poco F5 at 65W to 100W, without ever having to have to deal with Xiaomi's charger and cable. Hi and thanks for your message. You can safely use the Baseus 100W GaN 5 Pro charger to charge Poco F5 but be aware that the charging would not be at 67W because Baseus doesn't support Xiaomi's protocol SonicCharge 3.0 - 6 Amps at 11V. And sadly, your phone doesn't support QC4+/5 either even though the SoC does. The phone's max input voltage is certified for 12V. In order to have 65W or 100W charging with the Baseus charger (USB-A or USB-C port) your phone should be compatible with 20V QC4+, PD3.0 protocols.

If, today, I hadn't come across your video and channel, I still wouldn't have known that my phone is entirely locked into that Xiaomi fast charging scheme, named SonicCharge 3.0. Haha! As you saw, my reasoning was that I could bypass SonicCharge 3.0 by enabling the Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology that was supposedly on my phone by the simple virtue of its SoC. Alas! I had thought that with the help of a good 100W charger which supported Quick Charge, like the Baseus in your in-depth review, I may be able to activate the Quick Charge on my phone due to the communication between the phone's SoC and the Quick Charge-supported charger's chip. Thank you for letting me know how wrong I was about the state of affaires with Xiaomi. Haha! The funny thing is that I don't have a problem with Xiaomi's 67W charger per se, my problem mainly lies with its USB charging cable. I can't find a replacement for it anywhere. In my country, you can't find its original. In fact, before having wishfully come up with the idea of somehow activating the Quick Charge on my Poco F5, I had been looking up and going through every 6 amp USB cable that I could find online, just to realise at the end that none of them were compatible with Xiaomi's charger. There is supposedly an extra middle pin in the USB TYPE-A part of the cable that triggers the Turbo Charge on Xiaomi/Poco phones, according to what I read if I conveyed it correctly. I didn't want to get a fake cable. People online were complaining that most of these fake Xiaomi cables don't give you any kind of fast charging, let alone Turbo Charge. I don't know what I'm supposed to do know - I feel at loss for any idea regarding the ordeal in which I am now. Haha! However, thank you for taking the time and sharing your knowledge with me. I told him about the issue with Xiaomi's 6amp-67/120W cable - that you can't find replacement for it. And, he told me that Mcdodo CA-2090 cable works on 67-120W Xiaomi phones to deliver their 67-120W charging speeds. If I'm correct, it's a 6amp, 100W cable. If true, It's rather interesting that this 100W cable can deliver 120W of power to a 120W Xiaomi phone. I think if this Mcdodo CA-2090 work as the retailer told me, Your doing a test video on it would be a great idea because I've searched for such a video on RU-vid and no one has done it yet. I can't be the only person who's wanted to know what cable can replace the Xiaomi's infamously proprietary cable and still deliver their Turbo Charging to the max. I think this reason alone would make for a popular video for anyone with a 67W or 120W Xiaomi phone. And, there are a lot of people around the world with these phones. Also, I just noticed you're based in Greece. From that I may take the liberty and assume that you are Greek yourself, too. That made me happy: 1. Really happy you mentioned the Iranian love for Greek people! I think there are few companies like Mcdodo that manufacture decent replacements of the Xiaomi 67W cable. The major issue for me is finding a wall charger and equipment to trigger the Xiaomi fast charging protocol in order to do the output tests. It's easier if a phone supports PD3.0 100W or other commonly used charging protocols. So, I'm not able to do the tests if I don't have the Poco F2 and an appropriate charger. Another obstacle is that all major cable and charger companies are not interested in reviews and never send their products to RU-vidrs who do in-depth tests. I've emailed many companies (including Mcdodo) dozens of times and asked them for samples to do thorough product tests (for free) on my RU-vid channel but they didn't care at all nor sent me anything. They choose paid influencers on insta and tiktok instead. As you understand it is impossible for a reviewer like me to purchase all these expensive rare cables and chargers if the support is zero. However, if you know a company or retailer of Xiaomi charging accessories that is interested in my work, please let me know as I'd be glad to do the tests for you. همه چیز بهترین
