I got a question. When a kid touched and got burnt from touching a hot stove, and touching is decreased in the future. Is the hot stove an unconditioned punisher or conditioned punisher? (There are both sides supporting). I think "hot/warmth/cold) are unconditioned as it is NS while "stove"(CR) is paired with those sensation, so the whole "hot stove" is conditioned??
I think, when we talk about pair, there need to be repeatition, we are repeatly pairing a US and a neutral stimulus in order to create a CS. In this case, the unconditoinal punisher is the pain caused by touching the hot stove. I think for "Stove" to become a CS, we need to repeatly pair "pain" and the sight of "stove." commenting to help my study lol
