Basic Steps - danced by professionals though! lock steps - natural top into a hip twist - fan position - hockey stick - couple of new yorks - slow cuban breaks - few more new yorks - spot turn. (section1 - Roughly) About two - three years twice a week classes to get to that level - and 25 years experience to dance it like this couple...
@@hannahc6049 Cha cha cha? Definitely not! It's an American invention. Too stiff! Cha cha cha flows and hips must be in movement! Not like dolls with kind of stressed wires along their legs. The try to look sexy, but fail. Too artificial.
I recently started latin dance classes for fun and we started with the cha cha. After class I wanted to practice what I learnt and came across a great tutorial video and then I came across this video and my mind is blown away. This man is like a god and the woman a goddess with their own unique style in cha cha but they match so well in the dance like ying and yang. Flawless and brilliant. I can't stop watching this. Thanks for posting! ❤💥 Franco❤
This vedio shows a perfect body and technique of Franco Formica/Oksana couple doing Cha Cha basics. One could witness how Franco's body resilience is being exhibited in Cha Cha hip actions...Wunderbar...!
All these know-it-alls saying that the dancing is horrible, stiff, and that the guy is gay obviously, 100% do not even know what Latin ballroom dancing is, and it's style of dancing. Don't underestimate these dancers unless you truly have experienced the beauty of Latin dancing and the huge amount of physical demand required to even pull off this "basic" routine. Read up, watch real-deal competitions and showdances, then come back and give critique...
Al Rawandi Bro, touching on the physical demand is relevant because a lot of ignorant people think that this dance routine is nothing but just butt shaking. They don't understand the amount if precision and posture needed to make this routine look effortless and elegant. It's like saying "Oh football is so easy all u do is kick the ball and run here and there" "Football is a form of exercise, do it the way you want" but obviously u can't play football properly if u can't even angle your foot right to kick the ball. And i wasn't forcing people to like, people need to be understanding and respectful of things they don't fancy, not publicly shame and blurt out how awful they think something is, thus degrading such an art form. It's like being a racist jerk saying "Oh i just don't like blacks because they look dirty, my opinion though". See the similarities? Nothing forceful, just common sense.
Sara Ng The dancing is not stiff. It’s the guy who doesn’t show much movement compared to the woman. And I know this because I’ve done Latin for years Though I’m not professional
@TheNathvar It is a very basic routine. The first 2 routines they show the basics then every time they do it after they show more elaborate movements. But still showing very clear basics.
COSTA RICA. GRACIAS PROFESORES. LINPIO MAJISTRAL ELEGANTES CORDINADOS RITMICOS ELEGANTES MAJETUOSOS. UN COMPA UN SABOR. LE AMO Y ME EXTACIE CON SU CLASE.
that kinda reminds me of what an instructor told me..even the basic figures/routines can be made to look good. sigh I have a long way to go apparently. but yes if this is meant as an instructional video perhaps they should leave out all that extra styling to their dance as it would only confuse a beginner.
The song is called Manfred's Mambo (sometimes spelled Manfreds Mambo as well), the artist is called "El Tattoo Del Tigre". You can find this version of the song from the CD titled "LatiNatura". Hope this information helps you find it.
As a salsero and bachatero, I find chacha extremely underrated and they really incorporate it into salsa circuit (given it shares a similar rhythm and on2 stepping).
@RikkyCZ how? He is a professional dancer with 30 years experience. The way he dance is very classy and showed respected to his partner. A man with a professional skill and very humble is gay? You’re a loser.
@jerramy I'm not really a beginner anymore, I'm just saying that when I first started, my dance instructor told me that basic was the basic rock-step with a cha-cha-cha to the left or to the right, depending on which foot was free.
@tayo992 actually all the routines used in the end of these routines are what they use to compete in, but they could win using any routine, they're that good. They may simplify it a little but not much.
This is very good and I completely disagree with the comment below, they had a great connection and they danced the routines with very good technique, don't know what Miguel is talking about tbh. It was very neat and it goes to show how good actions put on simple routines can make them so much better than a fancy open step routine with not good actions
True for cha cha #1, but cha cha #3 was a routine that they actually competed in the UK open one year. Search youtube for cha cha ricardo vs. franco and you'll see the...striking...similarities.
The arms...the waves in the torso (especially Oxana). These videos are targeted at bronze to gold dancers (I believe), not people who are trying to win Blackpool Pro Latin titles. It can get a little too daunting for beginners (personal experience).
