Hi, congrats in picking the right speciality! Small mucus plugs can look like nodules, but usually they are cylindrical rather than round. Check the coronal and sag to confirm. Also check the priors. Was there a bronchus in the area previously? Vessels are easier bc they will branch and you can follow them back to the hila.

Depends, in the US can be few hundred to a few thousand depending on the kind of CT, the hospital, and your insurance. In other countries it may be cheaper.
