Hi Photon, thanks for sharing. This is my project I'm working on today, and am curious if you think mounting on its side would cause any issues. I'm mounting it vertically on a wall with the ports facing off to the right.
Thanks for this! i have the exact model - sorry i'm a complete newbie to networking - just need it to work!. i followed your exact instructions including IP addresses on the quick set up - after doing that - the switch works fine, but i can't access the quick set up url again which is default 10.0.0.1 ... any idea how to access that again? Thanks.
I changed the IP during setup from 10.0.0.1 to 192.168.1.11 Type in 192.168.1.11 and the Express Setup is available in the Contents menu under Configure.
