One of the best drum lessons I ever got was " Play the rest"...... DUH...?? WHAT??? "yeah, play the rest so the listener can join you in the fun" took awhile to get it but it changed my playing (now guitar, harp, flute) for life and gave me "FEEL" Great lesson my friend, cheers

I like your videos. Just bought my second Harmonica - same as yours and in A. I play guitar and piano for years, and love to improvise. Your feeling and concept really matches with what I like. A jazzy-bluessy groove freestyle. Nothing matters but just groove and fun. If you get lost - It doesn't matter, just keep the flow.

I've only played harmonica in 1st position on folk and country but I'm just getting into 2nd position blues. Great lessons

your the boss man.love your way of telling your stories and try to let everybody find his own style and giving away the little things that are more important then the rest. just started out but man do you know how to make me want to learn and don't give up. big thank you from the Netherlands. ifoy i can afford it i will surely take your beginners course at Modern Blues Harmonica.com but for now i just watch your vids and play around and have fun! I started playing guitar 2 years ago but got me a Harp so i can make music wherever i go. and boy do i love it. it feels kind of natural i guess. though playing the guitar and tapping my foot always and everywhere i am gives a great advantage it is still an instrument that anyone can pick up and start making music right away. keep up the awesome vids.

As retired professional classical (bas)clarinet player (belgium) and teacher I want to play an other instrument with a more auditive way of playing without a visual input of a score... Hard for me , because I played my whole live with a score. Difficult! The way you explains the harp gives me the courage to go further... thanks A question : many times I want to relearn some lessons, but can not find them. Is there a sequence, structure in your lessons so I can bild up and learn? Thanks
