@Masha knots would I be considered a beginner if I I know how to make a Chevron and a candy stripe and the zig zag one (I don't know the actual name is it's the one that is like candy stripe but zig zags)?
I'm stuck in my house because of the you know what going around and here is my bucket list ☑️ Learn how to knit ☑️ Learn how to crochet ☑Learn how to make really cool friendship bracelets (hope I learn) ☑Animate better
That’s awesome I know how to knit crochet sew and embroider it’s definitely very fun great job sticking to your list and not giving up I’m also here learning for a bucket list of my own :)
@@melaniecastro6203 thank you! I like learning to do new crafts, it's just I don't enjoy some like needle felting, all the stores I go to have literally nothing for it and I ended up getting pretty bad materials that didn't let me enjoy the full experience. But overall it is fun!!!
Also,I am an adult with ADD(am no longer ashamed to admit, lol),& because of this fact,it's sometimes difficult to keep up w/some people's tutorials that show you how to things like crochet loops, stitches,& like how to tie knots, etc.,especially when they show you what to do real fast, after giving a fairly vague or confusing description of what to do as well..I really appreciate how u break down the steps in a way that's easy to understand,on top of thoroughly describing this too. Plus,reviewing/repeating these steps a few times each, also really ensures that everyone has the best chance of really catching on & successfully making these alone. I feel like now I've not only learned how the knots are made, but I've got an even get a better understanding of the whole process in general. Thanks to this video,I'm no longer feeling confused & almost too intimidated to try following a pattern for the 1st time(cuz I made these as a kid,& was only shown how to make the most basic striped patterns,& didn't have internet & real patterns to follow back then,so never learned anything past forward knots & alternating colors,lol)..Thanks again,u do wonderful work!
This is super thorough and helpful, didn't even know I needed it explained so many times haha. I tend to find myself thinking "oh yeah, I could do that now" after watching someone demonstrate once, but when asked to repeat steps or demonstrate it myself my mind is blank. The fact that you demonstrate it multiple times and repeat the steps definitely helps familiarize the process and cement it in my head.
Forward-backward and backward-forward knots are actually a lot simpler than I made them out to be!! I’ve learned everything I know from Masha knots!🙌 shes makes things really easy!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I've been struggling to make the forward-backward and backward-forward knots but thanks to you I finally figured out how to!
Even though I know how to do knots I feel like the way you do the knots are so much more effective than my method. I usually end up with my right middle finger skin peeling because of the way I do the knots. This is why I never miss a video of yours! ❤️
Might seem to some viewers really over-the-top detail with how to hold threads, etc. but I think it's key to getting good, consistent knots. I used to tape down top & bottom of threads but found this very hard to tie under the "standing" thread (one that stays still w/tension). I think your idea of holding the standing thread with a pinkie is most important -- maintaining tension & allowing any combination of other fingers to tie the "working" threads (ones forming the knot). It also helps to keep the bracelet from twisting around as you knot. Excellent, detailed, basic steps. Gotta nail these down solid before moving on. Kudos!
Thank you so much for this! My first attempt at an alpha pattern NASA bracelet was a fail, and I think it had something to do with my knots. I didn’t even know there were different types of knots for different directions! I hope to try out an alpha pattern/regular pattern again, but with success! Thanks again! ❤️
I've only been doing friendship bracelets for a little over a month now and yours were the first videos I found, and thanks to you I feel like I can tackle any pattern I come across now ❤
Finally! Great explanation! I want to do some earrings n see these great patterns but the instructors go very fast, don’t say which knot them are creating, speak in a foreign language n/or write in a foreign language. If you do earrings I would absolutely love that!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I just started making friendship bracelets again and forgot how to do the knots and needed a refresher. This is super easy to understand. You are an awesome teacher ❤
Thanks so much for this awesome tutorial! I bought a friendship bracelet making kit for my 12-year-old niece. I sent her this video as a way to get started. I think it will be much easier to start with this tutorial, than by just looking at a book.
I've been making the basics for over 25 years, and I wanted to start making alphas. I noticed that you do them so the FRONT of the bracelet is the side facing you as you work. I was taught so that the back is facing you as you work. So thank you for this video. It will make doing alphas so much easier. When they have letters anyway. I just need to remember over instead of under.
Thank you for this video. I watched this yesterday, and I finally “GET IT”! Rather than confusing my old brain, I plan to alternate directions of Candy Stripe bracelets for awhile. Then I’ll take on the Chevron. And then, who knows!!!
the way you knot the rope, your hand's move, totally the same as me. :D this is very helpful thank you so much! i'm making friendship bracelet since 2018 but stopped in 2019 because i was very busy but now i want to learn more again. thank you Masha!! xx
Hi, I'm new on your channel but I'm in love with it!!! You are really good in it and when you explain everything step by step it seems much more easier and simply😄
Hi! I’m a (new) deaf subscriber and I wondered if you could turn on your automated caption option on please? (The creator has to turn on the option for me to be allowed to use it) These are very instructional videos! Thankyou so much! I’ve been enjoying your video’s with the captions! Have a great day! 💕
Hi! This is super strange. I actually created the captions myself and I was sure they were up! Somehow they were stuck on “pending” and were not up all this time. I’ve now fixed it and the captions should be available. Thanks for bringing this to my attention! And also welcome :)
Can you make some more thicker bracelets? Thicker bracelets in my opinion are more attractive and more entertaining to me. I have been really extending my horizons recently when it comes to making new more challenging bracelets. I have also been using the segment knotting technique which goes 10 times faster then going row by row. Luv u Masha! You are my bracelet world!
Omg,that 1st one w/the fishtail/herringbone or whatever it's pattern is called, is bad ass!! I want to make some for pride month, which just started if I'm not mistaken! Thanks 4 the great vids..You are an awesome artiste girl!
When you’re doing a forward backward knot or a backward forward knot is this considered a double knot or should I do another one to have it be a double knot? If my pattern calls for a normal forward knot should I do a double knot for that because technically the B/F knot and F/B knot are considered double?
Hey been watching for a few weeks and was wondering if could you do a video about how to read friendship bracelets with spaces in them I find them to be really confusing
I'm trying to learn how to make a bracelet for my love so that they have a part of me wherever they go. They've done so much for me so I want to do something back. Hopefully I'll make something actually good ;w;
the video has just begun, so I don't know if you have covered this or not. But I'm going to ask. What are the best threads to use for bracelets? Are there different kinds?
i knew exactly one pattern (my teacher taught me how) when i was in middle school and made like ten million bracelets and i really felt like making one but can't remember how? and i did not realize this is such a big thing?? but i guess im learning a new hobby now-
I really need you now, when I make my knots. 1 row the knot are diagonally to the bottom right and in the next one diagonally to the bottom left. How can I fix this help me plsss 🙏🏾🙏🏾
