We get such a crash course on what we have to do by what is on fire in the office, it is nice to have a refresher on the basics to keep oriented. Thank you! I think you were confusing deferred submittals with shop drawing submittals. Like fire protection for residential, or fire alarm drawings for offices. That is my only comment that is critical. The window system for a large building could be deferred because it is manufacturer specific. Submittals for the design team from the contractor to the architect to the engineers are the following: plumbing fixture selections, equipment selections, lighting fixtures, terminal air devices, etc. Two different animals.
