Advanced MA Tip: You should actually use Linear tweens. It appears much more smoother than an animation without Linear tweens, because you can tween more accurately with multiple linear tweens within the animation. For example: You can’t really jump over a perfect circle without linear tween. Think about it, Linear is the starter, Constant is the instant, and the other tweens are presets.
@@ohlakwa it's basically does the movement inbetween two frames, for example if u wanted to move an arm (tweening applies to every animation tool) but too lazy to animate other than the starting and the end point, you can ad a tween inbetween the frames, but in roblox moon animator, it does it for you. also if anyones wondering how to make a handle yourself, wherever you want the handle to be (the part of the item thats connected to the model) make sure to make a part, line it up with the part thats gonna get held, put it into the model doesnt matter if u name it handle or not then press ctrl + g to group or right click and press group to make it a full model, then open cleaner to clean so nothings left behind, also unanchor everything (if the welds are anchored that doesnt change it because welds arent parts) and then go into easyweld click parts and weld the handle and then the meshpart aka the item, if you want to lets say make a gun and have a controlable slider, go to moon animator beginner tutorial.

I got a *serious* question. So let's say I used the character inserter for moon animator. Then, I modified and added 3d clothing and layers to the character. How do I rig/animate it now?
I did not play Roblox for a while and that's cool they got layered clothes. How ever make sure your clothes are separated in to seleves and the middle section. Select the left arm and then select the left sleeve and click join in place in easy weld. Do the same for the right sleeve. For the torso it's the same. Select the torso then the middle section of the shirt and click join in place. Same for the pants. Make sure they are separated in to left part and right part. Do the same as you did with the hands. MAKE SURE!!!!!! You first select the body part and then the clothes. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Here's my main problem, i want to have the animations active while i play the game, i know how to export and make animations but when i play the game they are frozen in place and i can't find a solution anywhere maybe im not looking well enough or its just something people never show/.
It can be one of the following 1) you made an error in the script 2) maybe what your using animation for needs to be looped. I don't know man I am not good at scripting.
That’s correct but if u are tired of it constantly snapping you back in to the position of the camera u can click the little circle and it will disable the camera.
I have actually had this problem before I think this is what you mean’t “I want to make it where it does not move slowly to the next position” well to do that you want to select all the key frames of the position before the next and copy and paste them (you click edit and click copy then click your rig and the click edit then click paste) then move the copied key frames in the middle of the first and next position. What should happen is your rig stays the same position then starts moving slowly halfway to the end and won’t expose the next frame when playing the first frame. what i do to make quick motions in animations is, i have my keyframe and stuff but its slow. even with easing, so i copy the keyframe before or make a new one and put it around 5-15 frames before the other frame to make it look very quick, so it does that keyframe and does the other one very quick, also i suck at lighting so thats why im here
For windows computers its Backspace or Delete. For mac though i think you got to hold the command or CTRL key and press delete. Not sure never used mac.
Hey, when I do the animation it slowly executes the animation, like for example, when I do a punch animation the person I'm punching reacts to getting hit when the punch isn't even touching them you can see it in my channel it called test you can see animation moves slowly and reacts to getting hit when the animation starts do you know what's wrong? Oh I see. So for the person getting punched you have to make sure he stands still till the punch gets to him. So for example you can copy the last key frames and paste them right before the other guy punch him.
Hey I have a question, I’m trying to make a powers animation of someone pulling another person to them. But when the person pulls the other person. The other person starts getting pulled before the first person even raises there hand. How do I fix that?

Do you mean the camera doesn't work for you? if that's what you mean then here are the solutions. first set up the camera where you want it to be-add a keyframe (look at an object one way). then move the little line on the moon animator. then movie your camera (perhaps look a different way). and then add the keyframe. or it could be that there is another camera plugin running. for some reason, other camera plugins break moon animators' cameras.
you should press the "+" on your number pad, not the other plus sign. unless you don't have a number pad on your keyboard then I don't know... because as well for deleting keyframes you use the "delete" button that should be on or next to your number pad, but my brother has a MacBook so he does not have a number pad so he can't delete keyframes :/. I don't know I only used moon animator for 1/5 years.
When you attach a item to the hand, it doesn't work when you hold ctrl and click. A folder of options show up instead. I've been figuring that for 2 hours Now.
@@boxitor9355 what do you mean by that? If you get one from moon animator the rig should be fine. Unless you make your own rig and it may be possible that you made a mistake there. I don't know man...
Hello! I am new to animating and i made a animation that a guy punches another, guy the problem is that i want make it a move that if you hit it,it plays the animation and damages the enemy.Any help?
If you're talking about making an animation in a game I can't really help you with that. But what you can do is when you click on the opposite player he get damage and the animation plays. I think it will be easier to make it this way. I really don't know. I make animations but I don't use them for my games.
I made an animation with the tool but the tool only appears in the moon animator and when I put the animation to play in the game the tool does not appear, how do I fix it?
As an example you can put the Jojo thingy as a decal on a part. Then put it inside of your character. Then select the torso of the character then the part. Open up easy weld and click join in place. Next when animating put the part with the decal under the ground. Then add a new key frame and move it back up to the top. If you want it to appear slowly add the decal to the animation as well. Then when adding it to the animation make sure you check the transparency. Then add a key frame and click 7 on your number pad. And eddit the transparency. Add a new key frame and set it to 0 Or you can add it in your video editor but I my self don't know how to do that. Hope this makes sense.

I use "Adobe premier elements 2021". I don't really like it but it gets the job done. If your serious about making animations or films I suggest you get Vegas pro. I heard alot of people like it.
If a model has only one part then you can just add it to the character and it will work(you don’t have to name it handle I only learned that later). And if it has multiple parts then find the biggest part and just weld the model.
With meshes it's slightly different. I am planning on making a better tutorial on ringing. It will cover your problem. It should come out by the end of this month.
