Congratulations on being featured in the latest face paint magazine! Would love to see your mermaid that you mention in this tutorial. Love your designs.
Really informative video! If I'm not overstepping my bounds, might I suggest a higher camera angle? You'll have to look down less and it will look more professional. :)
I'm a newbie and confused about the classification of flat brushes. Why do they have numbers, such as a 1/2" #4 flat brush? Is there more than one type of 1/2" brush? For example, is there a 1/2" #2? Or #6? What does the number indicate when the widths are the same? What does the wiggling accomplish at the 10:19 point? Thanks for the helpful video.
Cam: I agree 100% with @qwertykira , I've been painting for a long time but just started out getting my business for face painting going in Mn, these tips are helping my speed time so much more , your so sweet and slow , I feel like your the perfect teacher for me in a classroom , but way cheaper and online, so #blessed that you are taking time to do this channel, by far you are my fav! just needing to know the cheapest place to order paint, so expensive on amazon and face painting websites online. Don't have ant split cakes yet, and I think it would be smart to get some with sponges, I was doing the old fashion way and using my paint brush to fill in all colors and strokes. Also any tips for tents or shade for out door summer booths? I was thinking of ordering a cute canopy that is waterproof and has walls, but also a little pricy $130.00....I have a lot of events this summer, any tips for me would be awesome for the paint , cakes, and tents ( canopy) tips....so far I stalked up on Halloween face paint after Halloween, or bought my first pallet , small one "Snazaroo" party pack, small also expensive but then I didn't have to order it. I have to go an hour south for face paint, none around my area in MN, Any tips or thoughts will help! Thank you so so much!
Very helpful. I want to entertain the kids at our next congregation picnic and face painting would be fun for all. I paint landscapes with my brushes and pallet knife, but face painting is very different of coarse. I’m sure it will be fun though. Now I’d better track down some paint and start practicing on my friend’s kids. Lol
even though I feel confident in doing these strokes, I love this video! just watching helped me perfect them even more thank you so much for your time and helpful videos!
Onde comprar esse tipo de tintas , será que existe aqui em portugal? qual o nome dessas caixas de tinta. Obrigado. Where to buy this type of paint, does it exist here in Portugal? What is the name of these ink boxes? Thank you.
Thank you :) Great informative tutorial. I just volunteered to do facepainting at my kids Field Day. Im artistic yet never face painted before but now I feel confident that I can.
