Great video. Can per step ratcheting (or is it called repeats?) be programmed to progress over several steps, like an increase or decrease? Maybe you went over it in one of your videos and I missed it. Thanks.

Yes you missed it, it's called repeat on the polyend play :) recommend to watch the videos in order since they are built from the previous

When you were playing with a random note, it sounded like the soundtrack from super Metroid.

For me deluge, no contest. But play is awesome too. There's a reason why I have both :)

Wanted to ask a question about the Play +, but no worries if no response: do you ever find that the samples you use eat up way more of the memory than they should? You get 3 mins (180 sec) of stereo samples. 5% of 180 is 9 seconds. But I made samples that I know for a fact are 2-5 seconds long and yet it says I am using 10+ percent??? Seriously needs to be worked out but *maybe* I am missing something on my end, I've only skimmed parts of the manual.

I probably don't use it the same way. I can load three samples and go nuts with that, so no I haven't even noticed. And it's a blast! Less is more... But if you need something for longer samples look into deluge

@@RonCavagnaro I agree with what you are saying in principle. My only gripe is 2-5 second samples are not long, especially considering loops, and Polyend advertised 180 seconds, without any disclaimers or contingencies (at least to my knowledge). I knew buying it new, I would essentially be Beta testing, was just curious if any other early adopters came across this. For an $800 dollar machine, that's the minimum I would expect. But I am more than willing to concede if perhaps my sample rate or file type can influence that (but to my knowledge, aren't the samples converted to 44.1 Wavs regardless?). I'm gonna do some research and experiments and report back. Thanks for all your content, it was very helpful in my purchasing decision and enjoyment of the box.

@@Antonio_Ortiz yeah maybe ask dev and they should be able to directly help I really don't use the gear the same way so I haven't really gotten to the point where I am focused on a sample percentage yet
