■Materials (for one 17cm x 8cm pound mold)
・Soft flour: 100g
・Baking powder: 1/2 teaspoon ・Granulated sugar: 80g
・Salt: a little ・Mixed egg: 2 pieces ・Butter (unsalted): 100g
■Preparation ・Bring butter and beaten eggs to room temperature.
・Put a cooking sheet on the mold.
・Preheat the oven to 170℃.
■ How to make
1. Put butter in a bowl and mix with a hand mixer until it becomes creamy.
2. Add granulated sugar and salt, and mix until whitish and fluffy.
3. Add the beaten eggs that have been returned to room temperature little by little, and mix well each time to emulsify.
4. Sift in the cake flour and baking powder and mix with a rubber spatula.
5. Put it in a mold and level the surface so that both sides are slightly higher, and drop it from a height of about 10 cm to remove the air.
6. Bake in an oven preheated to 170°C for 40-45 minutes. *About 10 minutes after the start of baking, cut a slit in the center with a knife moistened with water so that the center will swell.
7. Remove from mold and cool on cake cooler. When the heat is removed, wrap it in plastic wrap and let it cool completely.
8. When it is completely cooled, cut it into your desired size and it is completed.
■Tips/Points Be sure to use butter and eggs that have been returned to room temperature so that they do not separate.
・Be sure to preheat the oven before baking. Baking may vary depending on the oven model. Please use the baking time as a guide and adjust while watching the situation. If it gets too brown, cover it with aluminum foil.
