these are really good points and there is actual psychological phenomena behind them. I will also add and say that if you want to intimedate or make someone else feel uncomfortable (a stranger in a public place as eg) just start straight at them with no emotion on your face and keep staring, preferably dont blink until they look away. Something i picked up learning about psychopaths.

I worked in retail for 10 years,how this is relevant is that I studied psychology in my spare time to understand why people behave a certain way and working with the general public is like a social experiment. These little tips are very accurate, more than once I've been put into situations I needed to tactfully dissolve or remove myself from and they worked. I've since changed into the production profession but I will continue to use these little tricks often.
For the last tip, it also helps convince yourself that you SHOULD be there and not feel self conscious or nervous. Basically when you act a certain way, you not only fool other people, but can also fool yourself as well (hopefully for the better).

Tbh if someone's constantly looking at my lips while I speak, I just assume they are hard-of-hearing and need to read my lips to understand what I'm saying, so I speak louder and move my lips in a more cohesive manner to help them understand. That instantly makes them look into my eyes and therefore let me know they heard me.

The confidence one is absolutely correct i used to shoplift when I was a drug addict and whenever i did i did exactly what it says in the last tip and i always got out without any trouble I'm sober now and no longer do this but it works in most situations
