Hi! The tutorial is great but I have a question. If I use the punch needle on a blouse for example, will it fray on the back when it's washed? Or the stitch is somehow secured? Thank you!

Does this sort of tool work on fabrics like cotton and poly or exclusively poly fabrics like adding initials or names to a doctor's lab coat?

Hi I’m just wondering I have a punch needle and I set it up correctly however the rather thin cotton I was using didn’t hold the thread and just made holes - was it the pen or the material? Thanks

hi can u use regular embroidery floss? or is there a certain type? tfs I'm just starting out on punching i've done regular embroidery and cross stitch but not this and i'm anxious to get started. tfs

Lori, I have two different punch needles and my thread treader won't go into the hole? Am I am doing something wrong? Are there different needle treader?

How do you stop the tread unravelling when they are pulled? Do you have to tie them off at the back or something?

Lori, how would this work on burlap with wool yarn, would the needle accept wool yarn/

Maybe you can help me, my mother did punch embroidery quite a few years ago, and I have her stuff now. Unfortunately she isnt here to ask. I have some cloth that she had with the tools and thread, is weavers cloth kind of stiff feeling? Almost like it has been heavily starched? Just wondering if what I have is the right stuff. Thanks :) Great video!
