Learn basic sentence structure in English grammar and five simple sentence patterns you can use to make sentences. We will discuss the most common sentence pattern in English (subject + verb + object) with many examples. I'll also teach you about different parts of a sentence, including subjects, verbs, objects, adjectives, adverbs, and nouns.
At the end of this lesson, there will be a short quiz where you must identify the sentence pattern of 10 different sentences.

1) Subject + Verb + Object (S-V-O Pattern) - Example: David loves dogs.
2) Subject + Verb (S-V Pattern) - Example: They are walking.
3) Subject + Verb + Adjective (S-V-A Pattern) - Example: My parents are kind.
4) Subject + Verb + Adverb (S-V-Adv Pattern) - Example: Turtles walk slowly.
5) Subject + Verb + Noun (S-V-N Pattern) - Example: My father was a butcher.
