I have question Mr Chintamani If we have washed the hand why are we so rigid about the non touch technique to wear the gloves? Do we assume that during the length of the surgery the bacteria residing inside the gloves won't have colonized the surface? And isn't it just a textbook obsession of the surgeons? Keeping in mind that the only purpose of such technique is to curb a hospital acquired infection, which would anyway find its way in an overburdened hospital in India.
