I had weeks of going back and forth trying to make a decision of which one to choose . I spent 100 of hours researching . This is a much needed video . I finally went to my dentist and had a list of questions and once all 15 questions were answered I made a good choice . Basically we need the right questions answered , but it took me a month to write down my questions . Dentists need to give us a pamphlet with all the possible questions or pros and cons . That would have made my decision so much easier . Thank you for this video !

However you go on, [despite your very lengthy experience', putting in All on Four bulky bridges, which remove healthy gum and bone to make for easier implants, which are hard to keep clean and which are not in the interests of patients. Thanks, for your feedback, but let's agree to differ!

Oh come on! Three on Six requires far more technical skill than All on 4, which treats every mouth the same, it's quicker and cheaper to do All on Four...

I had 4on8 surgery in Utah this past July. I am age 60 and had 23 teeth pulled which included 4 wisdoms. There was some bone grafting done. I am in week 11 and still in temps, but they feel rock solid and strong. I did not want my gums and bone removed. My surgery was 8 hours under general anesthesia.. I am happy with my choice.

Thank you for this video! I have been in an upper partial for years and was pretty concerned if an all on 4 would even be an option. I was having a hard time finding good information like this.

I am currently having implants which my dentist is grafting with every implant I am 56. My dentist has decided to do a roundhouse one piece bridge with 6 full size implants. I am currently waiting for my implants to heal. I’m about two months into my 4 to 6 months of healing. And she has me wearing a denture until healing is complete. I wear it only for cosmetics. I am not able to eat with it. I’m sticking with softer foods. What I’d like to know is your thoughts on the roundhouse one piece zirconium bridge. We are going that route to try to not have any fake gum.

Since you’re Going through the process do you think it’s worth it? What’s the hardest things you experienced during the process? I want to be able to smile so bad but I’m afraid and don’t have much knowledge about it. I wish you the best

@@L3tsFnGoDumDuM the eating part is by far the hardest part. My husband asks me frequently why I don’t just get dentures and be done with it. But he forgets I am currently using a denture and can’t eat with the stupid thing. Yes my diet has to change drastically for about 6 months. But then I’ll be able to eat just like I did when I was younger. 🤞

This is exactly the route I took after spending months researching All-on-4 (FP-3) vs. an implant bridge with no fake gums (FP-1). After all my research, I felt that preserving my healthy gum tissue and jaw bone with the non-invasive implant bridge was in my best interest rather than the more invasive All-on-4 procedure. I'm 4+ months in my healing process and will get my final zirconia prostheses next month. I couldn't be happier with my decision. My advice is to hang in there and get through the inconvenience of eating soft food for the healing period. Pay special attention to keep your temporary clean along with your implants. You're right...the reward will being able to eat again like your younger days!! By the way...try and not let your husband influence your path...obviously he doesn't know the heartache involved with living with traditional dentures.
