This is very helpful because I love working with Kato Clay. This will get me through the conditioning process more efficiently than what I have been doing. The Conditioning Bar is like magic. I can have the clay at a whatever softness I want for a variety of purposes.
I love Kato clay. Thank you for the tips! I think it helps to carry it in a pocket or somewhere against body heat for 15 or 20 minutes first, then pound it or slice and roller it. That's if I am starting with clay stored in my fridge or freezer. Thanks again for your sensible, neat tips!
When you have rolled the clay through the pasta machine several times the edges become jagged. Is it ok to fold one side into the middle and do the same for the other side?
I have a question about older clay that someone stored in front of the heater vent for many years,if it was never opened can it still be conditioned for use? Thank you again!
