Your tetras are so cute swimming together. My neon tetras only come together when it’s time to feast.. even when I clean they are like “meh.. whatever”😭
This means your neon tetra are feeling very safe. If you want to encourage schooling behaviour, increase the amount of light hitting the fish. (See how this tank has bright light even on the carpeting plants?) Alternatively, you can add a fish to your tank that the tetras perceive as a potential threat.
This creator likely uses RO/DI water for their fish tanks. This requires remineralization. It looks like they are using seachem equilibrium to remineralize their water.
Hermoso acuario tengo una pecera con 80 litros sin ninguna planta acuatica tengo 10 peces golfins y 2 telescopios no le meti plantas recomiendame algunas por favor
I'm still trying to learn the hobby and get comfortable with things, what did you dose the new water with? I use seachem prime conditioner and it's a tiny amount of liquid for the same amount of water
I never do water changes I just top the water off from evaporation, I have a Betta in there he's 3 years old so I'd say I'm doing fine with that I use prime conditioner maybe 5-8 drops twice a week when I top the water off about 1-2"
Why need to change water? Those plant release O2 to water which was consume by the fish, in turn, the fish release amonium nitrate and CO2 to water which was consume by those plant! Some algae and planktons develop in the water which were good food for shrimp and small fish!! Add some shrimp and small fish to your pond, and you will not have to change the water anymore! 😂
For this tank yes you have to do water changes, but if you do your tanks in more natural approach, you won’t need to do water changes ever. I have a 35 gallon fish tank that I’ve never done any water change for or have a filter for. Everything inside of it has only died to natural causes(age), and all the plants are thriving. If you want to learn more about this watch this RU-vidr called father Fish. He knows it all
@@selayg90 Yes, they are easy to take care of. Just don't go crazy with keeping everything clean, just follow a consistent and moderate percentage of water change. if you plan on keeping neon tetras, it would be best not to add other fishes, if you want to add, pick a shrimp.
How come you have to do water changes with that much plant life? I have a little patio pond and don’t do water changes, so what’s the difference between them?
I think it might have something to do with c02 I personally change my water once a week just to remove any extra nitrates and to keep the water fresh. It’s different for every tank tho
