Obviously Chester was the one who truly made screamo a thing back in the day. The vocals are so crazy intense it's almost not human. It's like you can almost touch his pain, gives chills. Such a talent. So so sad.
My favorite Linkin Park song ever is Easier To Run. That song came out around the time I was getting bullied everyday in middle school. I started listening to it shortly after it came out only to realize the lyrics were screaming to me personally to tell me that I wasn't the only one going through those kinds of situations. Ever since then, I have tried my best to move forward and not let anything stop me from enjoying my life. 20 years later, I have continued to live with that philosophy regardless of how my life changes. All I can do is continue to believe in myself to get from one day to the next. That's one thing we all have as human beings. If we are to continue into the future, we need to believe in ourselves, and that's what Easier To Run has taught me whether or not that was the original intention when that song was written. R.I.P. Chester. Keep it metal. \m/
tldr; please react to "Waiting for the End" from their album A Thousand Suns. It's so insanely hard for me to pick a favourite Linkin Park song. I'll always be emotionally really drawn to multiple songs from their first two albums, Hybrid Theory and Meteora, because those where the songs that helped me as a teenager when my mental health deteriorated, and I couldn't put my own words to what I was feeling. Songs like "Crawling" (there's a stunning video from their last tour (One More Light tour) you should definitely check out) , "Easier to Run", "Papercut", and "By Myself". But their album A Thousand Suns has got to be my favourite. It's one of the few albums that I will listen to from start to finish, doing nothing else but listening. All the tracks just blend together, and it pains me a bit to pick out any songs individually to suggest. But it does contain what is probably my favourite Linkin Park song, "Waiting for the End". I'd love to see you react to that song!
Some other great Linkin Park songs to react to are: "Waiting for the End", "Leave Out all the Rest", "The Messenger" (this one is much more calm but still so fantastic), "What I've Done", "Crawling", "The Catalyst", "Iridescent" (another calm one), "Easier to Run", etc. Just so many good ones lol
FACT: this kid is NOT Chester's son. Rumour that "this kid is Chester's son" is kinda old now, dont know who start spreading it, but people who dont know shit - easily fall for that bullshit (and also help to spreading it here and there). Chester had a girlfriend, Elka (Brand). After a while they split and Chester met Samantha (Marie Olit) (who became his 1st wife back in 1996). Elka didnt say to Chester that she pregnant. This music video was filmed in 2003, during European touring. At that moment Chester had only one son, from Samantha - Draven (at that moment he was less than 2 years old). In 2004 Elka let Chester know that she have a son from him called Jaime (it was said by Chester in Samantha's book). In 2006 Chester adopted Jaime and his brother Isaiah (not Chester's physical son but from another men). At that moment he was already divorced with Samanta and had a marriage with Talinda (Bentley). So this kid physically cant be Chester's son at all.
Those videos with the lame special effects you referred to were done in the early 2,000’s so that was state of the art then. You should look into when the videos you are reacting too were actually made… it’s supposed to be about those music not videos anyway. They were an incredibly group
Im very happy to see you enjoy Linkin park it warms my soul and heart. Seeing someone react to my favorite band and the one I grew up with is always so fun to watch. I grew up listening to them on my old MP3 player haha:) My favorite songs of theirs for me personally with a lot of meaning attached for me are "Breaking The Habit" from the album Meteora and "My December" from "Hybrid Theory" bonus edition. So just a heads up. Any song you listen to from the 2 albums "Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" (From The Inside is from Meteora) are 90's to very early 2000's. Hybrid Theory technically came out in 97-98 before they had to revamp it thanks to their record label Warner brothers which then the albums came out later. But yeah they were doing a ton of stuff before hand! And I'm very happy you are enjoying them even if you don't like the screaming as much. I love it and I love his cleans and the rap I love everything.

Leave Out All The Rest by Linkin Park is a BEAUTIFUL yet such a sad song. If you want something with less screaming, that's it. I'm a HUGE fan of linkin park so I like almost everything of theirs.
