Watching this again in 2022 is kinda heartbreaking...cleric stance, lots of dots, shadowflare...all gone. Stormblood really was the peak time for SCH and it's all been downhill since 😢
God I remember the first time I ever heard someone say "Eos and Selene do the same thing" and just going "wh- no they don't???" because the last time I'd played was Heavensward. I came back during Shadowbringers. Stormblood really shook things up, huh.
I love that every Scholar has this love-hate relationship with Eos. We love Eos for she gives us time to DPS. We hate Eos because she likes to just do nothing for several seconds, forcing us to heal. Also she likes to take her time when you order her to cast her HoT. Just to remind us that without her we are nothing and we depend on her.
Im glad that when i originally watched this i was still relatively new to the game and wasnt very far in the MSQ for ARR because i didnt realize how much spoilers there were in here. Glad i didnt watch this when i actually knew who those people were or remembered stuff about it
So yesterday I decided to take my summoner I was leveling and switch to scholar and heal some dungeons for GC seals. I am only level 38 and after watching this I thought this sounds simple. OMG Larry you are so right. I spent more time dpsing than healing. Scholar is a DPS job!
I watched this video to prep myself for playing scholar for the first time. I can definitively recommend it. My scholarly skills leaves all of my party members speechless. ;D
@@araniusprod Why'd you keep watching the video? Also it says spoilers in the video title. Also jobs get redone every expansion so this is all outdated. Also it's a joke video.
Another masterpiece! I'm a Bard main, but White Mage is generally my go-to healer. I'm really enjoying Scholar lately and this was so funny but accurate!
I was sad about how the basically video's style changed with Paladin and now this. Then you went into Rabanastre :D. How come the outro music is different though :O
The part with the poisoned chalice actually made me laugh, especially how calmly he said that it wasn’t him and it wasn’t what it looked like. Always found it funny how you can’t just heal and bring people back to life like in the game. For instance, the Lalafel is on the ground and they try to blame you for killing her, but you use a spell to cleanse any poison and bring her back and say everything is fine. Leaving them all starring dumbfounded as you smirk. 😂
tbf for that particular instance you're canonically stripped of all your gear & even if you weren't they bust in so fast that you'd probably get stabbed before finishing an incantation & I don't think it's technically revival from full death more pulling back from the brink of death, Nanamo was dead as a door nail from where you're standing
Mateus Santos I did put a spoiler warning in the description! ;; I think it's Okay now to put ARR and Heavensward spoilers in videos like these, with a warning
Larry: Oh I need to heal. *presses succor* Oh you sweet summer child. I came back here for nostalgia from before shadowbringers homogenized healing (again) and see THAT lmao
Grouping up: Ugh party members. Eos go heal em while I DPS with these Black Mages over here. Solo play: I am your god. You cannot kill me. I heal faster than you can damage me! Conclusion: Co-op sucks. Solo everything. Can't solo something? Join queue as a healer, then play as a solo player during the fight.
kman occassionaly I'll talk about that stuff, and a lot of the time I don't really give wrong information, just sarcastic or "real" experience stuff. But for in depth guides there are a bunch of channels that do those :)
After clearing ARR as a white mage for the 1st time, then as a summoner, I decided to give Scholar a try, and my 1st reacción was... "wtf!, where are the healing spells?" "this is summoner but with a faery that has all the healing spells". So... do I really leave all the healing to the faery and just concentrate on playing as a summoner? Can someone explain me how to play as a Scholar?.
